We liked the relaxing location, the cottage had excellent accommodation and facilities. It felt like a 'home from home'. A really lovely place to stay.
The quality of the accommodation is superb. The high ceilings make for a very spacious feel. There is everything within the cottage that you could possibly want and was beautifully clean. The owners (and their pets) are very friendly and welcoming. We were even invited to watch the annual alapaca shearing (including scooping up the incredibly soft fleece into bags). Thank you for making us feel so welcome and I am sure we will be back.
A beautiful location and a fabulous cottage. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the working farm aspect was brilliant.
The Calf House was perfect for us. Located on an alpaca farm, this cottage is a great location for exploring North Yorkshire and Thirsk, home of James Herriott. The owners are friendly, and the cottage was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There is even a friendly dog and cat for animal lovers. We will come back!
Good location for what we wished to do.
Owners very friendly with an excellent welcome on arrival. The whole holiday was very enjoyable with very comfortable, clean accommodation. Will definitely be returning sometime.
The quiet farm location, with good connections to the surrounding locations. Lovely clean accommodation with nice touches on arrival like milk in the fridge and biscuits to enjoy.
