Lovely quaint cottage. Cozy, well equipped. Comfortable, everything you need. Fantastic location, terrific views. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was well thought about. Every item, utensil you could think about was there. Warm house, great bathrooms. Clean, comfortable and central.

This is our seventh visit and the cottage is a real 'home from home'. Our Border Collie loved the garden and we loved the wonderful, ever changing views. Whatever the weather, we love it here and never want to leave.

The location and the view out to the Moray Firth is spectacular - we've been back 6 times to this cottage now - I can't recommend it highly enough - everything about it is excellent.

This was our third visit to Braehead Croft. It has large bedrooms, great panoramic views of the sea and a great outside garden area. It is central for exploring the Moray coast.

Very comfortable cottage . It was equipped with everything you could need, all cleaning products supplied - I. e. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, soap powder, loo rolls. Lovely uninterrupted view of the sea, This is the 5th time I have stayed here - highly reccommended

Braehead Croft was perfect for our needs, cleanliness was second to none. Everything you could need, perfect location and the views were outstanding.

The location of the property was fabulous. To wake up every morning with those views was amazing.

The cottage suited our needs very well, there was plenty of space for all of us and it was an ideal base for touring the Moray Firth. The sea views were wonderful and constantly changing.

The cottage had everything required for a super holiday. A really super holiday cottage, very well appointed with very helpful assistance from the owners if required. First class all round!

Liked the location and the size and layout of the property. The views are outstanding. It was central for further travel in NE Scotland.

The cottage was very comfortable and so were the beds. It was well furnished and stocked. The people seemed to have thought of everything. The patio was a wee sun trap and it was lovely to sit out there. The views from the windows out to sea were lovely and we spent time watching boats with the binoculars, didn't see any dolphins which was disappointing but maybe next time.

The house was very well equipped and everything worked as expected. The location and views were fantastic. The owners should be congratulated on providing such a good holiday property and we will definitely be back.

Our forth visit but this time it was December, and not June so a very different sort of holiday! We arrived in the evening to find the lights were on and a warm welcome from the roaring fire and the heating was on. Couldn't fault anything, even the weather was quite kind to us! The red deer on the roadside on the return from Ullapool was stunning, amidst the snow. All in all, a lovely time was had by all!

The property was in excellent condition, comfortable and very clean. I would be keen to visit again and recommend it to others

Braehead Croft had more than sufficient space for everyone to still do separate things. Very clean and neat and the view was amazing.

The house was so well equipped/clean it really did feel like a "home from home" and this led to a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. The views from the house were stunning and the surrounding village was quiet. There is a lot of tourist information stored within the house which is very useful. We re-booked for next year before our holiday was finished as this house was a bit of a treasure find and I can imagine we will return many times to it. And as a bonus we did actually manage to see dolphins on one occasion from the garden despite the weather!

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Braehead Croft and it really is excellent. Great facilities, superb location and views with a wonderful big garden for the kids to run about in. Can't recommend it highly enough!

The spectacular views and the immaculate presentation of the property, as always. We had a very relaxing holiday. Everything worked as it should. Portessie is a great touring area with walks directly from the cottage. The dogs loved the garden and we loved sitting on the patio admiring the view.

Good all round and would recommend this place to everyone.

Brilliant stay at braehead, the gardens are very large which was great for our border collie and there is a 180 degree sea view, we managed to spot dolphins several times.there are 2double end suit bedrooms and 1single bedroom and also a large bathroom our stay here has been excellent.

The cottage was wonderful with sea views from nearly every window. It was immaculate, every need was catered for, we really couldn't fault it. It was lovely and peaceful, and a real home from home. Situated where it is the cottage is in an ideal position to explore the many attractions this part of the world has to offer. We had such a good holiday and will definitely be back.

The photos of this cottage do not do it justice. It is just perfect, everything you could possibly want in a rental cottage. From just about every room there are sea views. There is a lovely patio area which has extensive views over the Moray Firth, as has the rest of the garden. The cottage is in a village and the village hall is next door; because of this we did expect that it may be a bit busy or noisy, but it wasn't at all. It also ideally situated to get to all of the many attractions in the area easily. All in all we had a really good holiday, and hope to return one day.

The location had stunning views and was very quiet. It was also central for travel around the coastal region. There were many extras in house to keep you entertained.

It was like a home from home. Very comfortable, well equipped and cosy. A good and accurate website meant there were no unexpected surprises or disappointments. Owner was very helpful but unobtrusive, just leaving us to contact her if required.

The scenery from the cottage was excellent, with good views from all bedroom windows. The cottage lacked nothing, everything you needed was there. All in all a very good holiday cottage to stay in.

The cottage has great views, and is a very clean and beautifully decorated house it was a pleasure to come back to after walking on the beaches in the area. Sitting on the patio with a glass of wine overlooking the water was bliss.

This cottage had everything you would need on holiday and more. We loved it and do not want to tell too many people as it will make it too popular and unavailable.

We love this area, we have been coming to it for nearly 40 years, and the cottage is perfect for our family, everyone has their own space. Also perfect for older generation all being on one level. The patio is lovely, beautiful views, and we manage to see the dolphins at least once from the cottage each time we come.

A great base for exploring the North East coastline through to the Great Glen. The location is ideal for fishing, walks or even golf

Our second visit was not a disappointment. Everything was just as we remembered if not better. We had a fantastic break and didn't want to leave. The dogs loved the garden and the walks and beaches in the area. Can't wait to return next year.

This property was by far the best we have ever stayed in.Superbly furnished,spotlessly clean. We could not fault it in any way. Panoramic sea views from most windows.It was a credit to the owner.If all holiday properties were as good as this, we would have no worries.

Fantastic location with superb view. Very homely, everything provided for a relaxed, comfortable holiday. Very helpful and thoughtful,owner, it was as though the cottage had been prepared for family rather than holiday makers and plenty of parking and ample ground for running around, and close to all ammenites. The first time we have stayed in a cottage where even cleaning materials were provided. Very close to Spey Bay where we watched dolphins, also Port Gordon fo seal spotting. I would highly recommend this cottage for comfort, location and ease of convenience. This cottage & location were fantastic in a rainy snowy March it was very cosy especially with the great fireplace and cosy atmosphere, I would imagine that in the summer it would be amazing. If you are looking an all year round getaway this is the place to be. This cottage has a wealth of warmth of its own, and I can see why guests return time after time.

We have rented several holiday cottages over the years and this was the best one yet. It was excellent in every respect.

The location and the layout of the cottage were absolutely fantastic. I can honestly say that this is the first time ever we have hired a cottage and gone wanton for nothing, we will be back soon.

The situation of the property was perfect and made a great base to tour from. We could not have wished for a better appointed kitchen. There were sufficient establishments for an evening meal within a short distance, which suited our needs perfectly.

Spacious and comfortable property, in the most beautiful part of Scotland.

The booking with Sykes was flawless and service was great. The cottage is great its fully equiped with every thing you could need and all rooms are well appointed and clean.The cottage is in great location over looking the sea and you can easaly forget its in ammid other houses.Its well sittuated in easy drive of a great variaty of things to see and do or you can just sit on the patio relax and watch the boats go by brilliant.

Very close to Spey Bay where we watched dolphins, also Port Gordon where we spent some time so close to the seals. I would highly recommend this cottage for comfort, location and friendly owners. Had a fabulous meal with family in the Old Coach House Hotel in Buckie. The staff were fantastic and the food was 5 star. This cottage & location were fantastic in a windy October, I would imagine that in the summer it would be idylic. If you are looking for a cold, minimalist cottage this one is not for you. This cottage has a wealth of warmth and heart, no wonder guests return time after time.

We have stayed in numerous holiday cottages but Braehead Croft beat them all hands down! The view is spectacular. The owners should be proud of themselves. The highlight was spotting seals in the bay from the garden! I would highly recommend this cottage, it was fabulous.

It was probably the best equipped holiday home we have ever rented. The owner was very helpful and informative.

We thought the Croft was one of the best properties we have stayed at in over 50 years of self catering. Everything was perfect. We found the owner very pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed the walking.

We couldn't fault the cottage on any front and the views from the house and garden were stunning. The town has everything you need without travelling further afield. The countryside around is beautiful and steeped in history and the beaches on the east coast are always worth a visit. Even the whisky trail is worth doing just for the scenery. The local people couldn't be more friendly. In fact there was everything you could wish for in one package.

Braehead Croft is the ideal location for exploring the multitude of riches that the area provides. If its spotting Dolphins or Seals the nearby coast provides ample opportunity or exploring the multitude of small fishing villages - Portsoy and its icecream was a particular favourite. Local history is well catered for with numerous castles or for those who enjoy a dram Portessie is close to the Whisky Trail.If its the excitement of our airforce then Kinloss & Lossiemouth are close by. But if you just want to look out over the Moray Firth then Braecroft is in the perfect location and with every comfort provided.

The owners have put so much tlc into Braehead Croft. It lacks for absolutely nothing. The setting is idyllic and a perfect holiday home.

The owner was there to greet us to this lovely cottage. Everything was first class, the view was fabulous we even had performing dolphins one evening at sunset. We hope to return and most certainly would recommend Braehead croft, home away from home.

The well-appointed cottage had great views over the sea. Good location and very central for travelling.

Braecroft is the perfect base for exploring the Morray Firth coastline which is spectacular with its seals and dolphins. The scenery in the surrounding countryside is also breathtaking and we really enjoyed that too. The added bonus of Jaffa Cake ice cream in Portsoy made things perfect.

The welcome and the cottage were both excellent. We had more than enough space and freedom in the cottage. It was close to all amenities you could need but commanded a quite breathtaking view of the Moray Firth - and plenty of space for dolphins had they bothered to pop round.

Excellent property, everything provided. No need to bring anything apart from clothes! 'The Highlander' in Buckie provides excellent meals.

Fantastic cottage in a superb location, every thing you could want for even binoculars left for whatching the dolphins. A very peaceful break away from the rat race.

This accommodation is fantastic for a family. We have been a couple of times in summer and winter and the place is lovely. The area is ideal for visiting other areas and the people are so friendly. Its great that there are 3 bathrooms and plenty of room for privacy. would recommend to anyone.

Directions were excellent and we found the cottage exactly as described. The owners were very helpful and provided everything you could possibly need and more. The croft is spacious, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for 5 adults. The property is in a beautiful location, with fabulous sea views from the lounge and bedrooms, and a lovely patio area and garden to sit out in and enjoy. We spotted a pod of dolphins following a boat, and seals, all from the garden ! There are plenty of shops, supermarkets,pubs and take away facilities within walking distance or a short drive away. There are plenty of places to visit. Elgin, Lossiemouth,Inverness are favourites of ours, and the Baxters Experience is a must ! We loved the freedom the property gave us, and have become regular visitors, driving 1500 miles on our last trip! This cottage is a rare gem . I want to live there !

Everything is catered for in a comfortable house that is a home away from home. I cannot speak highly enough about the house and the location.

The cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. Well equipped, clean & tidy. We saw dolphins along the coast.

The accommodation was 5 star, best we have stayed in with yourselves. The view out sea is tremendous with dolphins passing about 500 meters out to sea, the owners had even supplied binoculars for their guests to watch them and to see the fishing boats at work was fantastic.

Another excellent Sykes property! The view was fantastic down the Maray Zin and the cottage had so many extras. A wonderful place to get away.

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday at Braehead. The sea views were stunning.

Everything we needed for the week was provided. The large grassed area was particularly good for the boys and dogs to play on. The views were stunning. This is a simply wonderful holiday home.

The cottage was extremely comfortable and everything you needed was available, including binoculars, to see the dolphins. The views were spectacular, especially the sunsets. We would like to be able to visit again.

Braehead Croft was fabulous and a real credit to the owners. It has fabulous views across the bay. We spotted a group of seals with their young. The house was very child friendly and extremely well kept. The Croft was delightful, a real home from home. Wished it belonged to us! It was a sad day on Saturday when we had to leave. Many thanks for a wonderful break. We hope to return sometime soon.

The great welcome we got from the owners, especially as we turned up earlier than we should have! The cleanliness and spaciousness and warmth of the house and its beautiful views. The supplies that were available for our use.

Wonderful. We did a 200 mile round trip see the dolphins but not a glimpse of one. We came back to Braehead Croft, were having a cup of tea on the patio and, in the bay right in front of our eyes, there were 4 of them. A wonderful sight! A wonderful wonderful holiday had by all! Well done!

This is our second visit to Braehaed Croft. The property is ideally situated for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The position overlooking the bay is fantastic. The cottage itself is perfect for two families and we will be back in the near future.

A mass of information was available in the premises which meant we were able to plan our days in advance. The absolute highlight of the holiday was going on a boat trip from Buckie Harbour and seeing the resident dolphins in their natural habitat and again from the beach at Spey Bay.

The cottage was in a wonderful position overlooking the sea. Just wished we lived nearer so we could visit more often.

This was probably the cleanest, best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. The sea views from all the rooms at the back were outstanding. We were so happy and comfortable here that we wished we had booked for another week. The parking was very easy. The surrounding area has many interesting towns and coastal villages.
