This is a lovely farm cottage, very suitable for taking dogs on holiday to. We had some lovely walks around the farm and further afield. Very comfortable and warm accommodation, friendly hosts. We needed a restful holiday and the beauty of the area and the peace of the cottage meant that we have come away refreshed.

Friendly hosts, and I loved the farm and animals. The scenery was lovely and it was very peaceful as there was no traffic noise, and I loved the farm noise and sounds. The stars were great to see as there were no street lights to block the view.

The Granary was on a working farm, which meant that there were lots of different animals. The farm dogs and cats were very friendly, and there was a plethora of sparrows.

This is a great little gem in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. It is on an out of the way, dog friendly farm but only a 5 minute car trip out of the local town and all its amenities.

What a lovely surprise for a last minute booking! Idyllic place to stay with fantastic views of the countryside. Added bonus of a working farm and we were allowed to visit the calves and lambs being born at the time. The owners were friendly and very helpful with advice about places to go to and nice walks. Of course, our dogs had a great time too!

A stunning place to stay - lovely family with a working farm. Picturesque villages to visit and fantastic scenery. Plenty of walks to choose from too. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

Beautiful setting on a working farm, lots of wildlife to see, lambing while we were there. Cottage was really nice, all on one level. Kitchen really well stocked. Free WiFi provided. Our greyhound loved all the fields to walk in and was very interested in the rabbits. Beautiful scenery all around, very peaceful, just birdsong and noises from the farm.

Rated by Mrs Lamb reviewed on 13th April 2014

The photos used to advertise this cottage do not do it justice. Both the lounge and kitchen are large and double aspect, so that the stunning Shropshire countryside can be viewed from both sides. When the sun comes out, both rooms are flooded with the most beautiful and uplifting light. We loved it all - the setting, the décor and the facilities. We believe this property deserves at least a four star rating and we will definitely be going back.

We stayed here in September 2013 with our small dog. The cottage is beautifully appointed, on a working farm with lots going on. The owner, Frank, and his family were wonderful hosts, always there if there were any queries and gave us many tips and pointers to local 'must see' attractions and local food producers. We found it easy to find and enough off the beaten track to have peace and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with cleaning items and crockery, so no need to take the kitchen sink! Wi-Fi freely available, good connection, storage heating is really warm, adjustable to your taste. Our dog loved it! We will definitely stay here again.
