A beautiful cottage that has been wonderfully and thoughtfully renovated. The cottage was spotlessly clean. The views were fantastic and the entire time spent there was peaceful.
A lovely place to get away from it all. Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings.
The quality of the cottage and the location were both very good, we enjoyed the quiet and the walking.
Lovely cottage, very well equipped and maintained in a scenic location. We had a great time there and would go back.
The best cottage we've been to so far. It was cosy and clean, perfect for a family of four. In an excellent location with great views and was very quiet with lots to see around the area. Will return.
One of the best cottages we have stayed in. We were made most welcome by the owners. The Cottage is located in a stunning setting with wonderful views and was so peaceful. The Cottage is very comfortable, well furnished and maintained to a very high standard. We particularly enjoyed being able to eat our meals on the veranda. We had a fantastic week staying in an excellent cottage owned and cared for by a warm, friendly family who obviously take great pride in their holiday cottage(s).
Liked the peace and quiet of the area around the cottage, the welcome starter pack in the cottage along with the friendly welcome from the owner when I arrived. It was lovely to know that if there was any problems or I had any questions where I could contact her. The area around the cottage had lots to do and also the information folder and basket of leaflets in the cottage is a great idea for people visiting the area and not sure of what to go and visit. The guest book for people to enter how they felt about the cottage and also giving other guests ideas of what to do while in the area.
The welcome was perfection and the cottage well equipped. The site was beautiful, quiet and the view was marvellous.
Fabulous isolated location with great access to the Loch and lovely surrounding areas. Very cosy, excellently equipped cottage with lovely wood burner and great views.
Very nice, friendly owners. Very quiet location with nice views down the valley to the loch. Quite a drive to shops, so make sure you have all you need when returning to the cottage. Great scenery & visitor attractions. Easy local walking & cycling! Really enjoyed our stay.
The cottage was perfect; clean, cosy, modern and welcoming. The surroundings were peaceful and just what I needed. Remote, but close enough to Lochgilphead and Oban. I could have moved in and stayed forever!
Wonderful cosy cottage with lovely views down the valley to the Loch. Nice quiet location with walking from the door. Not too far from shops by car. Very nice helpful owners.
Scotland was awesome, and we were blessed with mostly fantastic weather. We loved the remoteness of the cottage which was surrounded by stunning scenery. Lack of light pollution, so a wonderful star gazing opportunity.
The cottage was in a lovely location. It was cosy and comfortable, and was a wonderful place to wake up in every morning. The scenery was spectacular, and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area.
If there had been a higher grade than excellent we would have scored it higher! The property was first class.
The cottage was lovely and is an ideal place for anyone who wants to walk or cycle as there are lots of places to explore.
A very nice cottage with good equipment. Silent and beautiful surroundings, fantastic view over Loch Awe from the garden.
This cottage far surpassed our expectations.
Having just spent two weeks in this lovely cottage we have to say we were very sad to leave. It was clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The views from all the windows were lovely and the only sound we heard were the birds and the nearby waterfall. On a clear night, because there is no light pollution, the stars were amazing!! and on a rainy evening there was nothing more cozy than sitting by a log fire with a glass of whisky!! If there had to be a downside it was perhaps the location as the road leading to the property is a single track which is very potholed in parts and the nearest large shop was a Co-op at Lochgilphead about 11 miles away but it was open until 11.00 pm every night. but this was a small price to pay for the views and quiet. The hotel at Kilmartin approximately 8 miles a way had a nice bar and restaurant I'm sure that if you needed anything in an emergency the owners Mr & Mrs Glendinning would help, they were lovely couple and their 'welcome treats' were a nice touch. As the property has it's own water supply it meant that at times it could be slightly discoloured so we stocked up with bottled water to drink, cook and clean our teeth in but this is stated on the website so we were prepared. All in all we had a wonderful time and would deffinately stay here again.
The cottage was an ideal place to relax and the views from the cottage were excellent. The area was a good place for sightseeing and visiting attractions.
