We've just had a few days in this delightful cosy cottage. It's our first break with the dog and is ideal for that because the farm is surrounded by footpaths. The weather was pretty rough but the cottage was cosy and quiet. Ideal for relaxing. Great views from the big kitchen window, when you can see it. Mandy the owner lives next door running a b&b and is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again hopefully next time it will be a bit drier it'll make walking the footpaths a bit easier.

It was quite remote, but that was a positive for us! There were excellent views of the sea and countryside, and the cottage was bigger than we anticipated it would be. The owner was very helpful and there were excellent walks from the cottage. Very comfortable!

An excellent cottage, we wanted to be somewhere remote and quiet and this is what it was, even though beaches are just 10 minutes away. It was very relaxing and easy to switch off and enjoy our time in the area. Batteries are totally recharged and would go again.

Loved the cottage and the beautiful view from the kitchen window. The location was ideal for walking as the Welsh Coastal Path runs alongside it. It was one of the best cottages that we have stayed in and we didn't want to leave.

The location and condition of the cottage was excellent. A lovely retreat with stunning views of the sea and country from the cosy kitchen, lounge and bedroom. There were lots of great walks along the coastal paths to different beaches and Llangrannog was close by with a lovely beach, pubs and cafe. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. It's a great place to unwind, relax and walk the dog.

I loved where the cottage was sited with direct access to great walks. The views out to sea from the cottage were amazing and the sunsets were terrific as it is west facing. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with most things you would need while on holiday.

We stayed on Valentine's weekend and it was the perfect weekend. The location was perfect for walking our dogs and had a beautiful view. It was clean and comfortable with a very friendly welcome from the owner and her family. The secluded beach was fantastic.

To stay at Morfa Isaf Farm had been one of my best places that I had stayed in, Mandy and her mother were the perfect hostesses, I was made to feel at home, the food could not be faulted. Just a short walk down to the beach and the coast line was great for taking pictures. when ever I get back that way again yes I will go there. You do need a car as it is off the main road about 3km.

Lovely cottage with everything you could ask for, the gardens were fabulous, especially good for the dog to run around. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we cannot wait to return. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away from it all and relax. There are so many walks nearby that you are spoiled for choice, a place to really get away from the stresses of everyday life.

The location was perfect, just stepped out of door and could walk straight on to coast path which was lovely for my dogs. No sound apart from birdsong. The owner, was very nice but not at all intrusive. If you want to get away from it all this the perfect place. Excellent location for exploring area, beautiful coastline.

Peaceful surroundings, a friendly owner and the close proximity to the coastal path was great. All in all a very relaxing week with locals being very friendly & welcoming.

Rated by Mr Hale reviewed on 31st May 2014

Morfa Isaf is really peaceful, the only sound we heard was birdsong -we have not been anywhere so isolated for many years. Even the main roads were quiet with hardly any traffic. Llangrannog is the nearest beach/village and a really lovely half hour walk along the coast. We had a wonderful time and will really miss the view of the sea at breakfast time. The weather got better as the week went on, it was just perfect. The owner was very welcoming and at hand if required with plenty of advice on the locality.

Rated by Mrs Gaymer reviewed on 17th May 2014

Chose this cottage holiday as a honeymoon break for my daughter and her husband and dog. They adored the scenery and the views from the pretty cottage, and that it was perfect for the dog. They enjoyed exploring the beach and caves, and that it was secluded but not too remote. Owner was friendly and accommodating but not intrusive. They loved their quiet honeymoon break at Morfa Isaf Farm.

Rated by Mrs Hayden reviewed on 25th April 2014

We loved the area and the fact each morning we could sit at the breakfast bar and just watch the antics of the wildlife, while we ate our breakfast. There where plenty of walks in the area. The cottage was comfortable warm and well equipped. Very comfortable bed with fresh clean linen. The peace and quiet was bliss. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Perfect retreat but still with plenty to do, thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The owner was delightful and very helpful. We will definitely go back! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

A week of switching off. Plenty of good pubs locally, so no cooking was needed. Plenty of interest within driving distance. Only drawback - no mobile phone connection in or nearby.

Rated by Mrs Rosier reviewed on 29th November 2012

It was in a lovely part of the country and we enjoyed our stay. We were able to go out for day trips, or stay at the farm and rest.

Rated by Mrs Waldegrave reviewed on 14th November 2012

Loved the location of this cute little cottage. It is attached to the B and B but stills feels private. The owner was friendly and accessible but also gave us space. Turn off your mobiles and leave the laptop at home - you won't get signal, but it is joyous to go off grid. Well located for dolphin and seal spotting too - just wish the Welsh weather was a bit better behaved our week :-)

Morfa Isaf Farm is off the beaten track. Its secluded, peaceful location makes it the perfect "get away from it all" destination. Mandy made us feel very welcome. The property is comfortable and well equipped. Outside there is a patio area in a lovely lawned garden, with views down to the coast. Ideal for ramblers or for those who just want to chill out. The beach side village of Llangrannog is less than 10 minutes drive away. It has pubs with great food. There is a very useful store for general provisions about 1½ miles from the property. Morfa Isaf Farm is situated in a very unspoilt and beautiful part of the country. A haven for birds and butterflies. It's difficult to think of any negative aspects of our visit, however, particularly during wet weather, care must be taken on the path down to the nearby beach. All in all we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to our family & friends

I didn't want to come home. It felt like such a home from home. Very relaxing and allowed us to recharge. Something for everyone. Walking, climbing or just chilling.

Rated by Mrs Colley reviewed on 18th September 2012

We have just returned from a superb week at a cottage on Morfa Isaf Farm. The farm also does bed and breakfast. They also have a gypsy caravan. I can’t comment on either of those, only the cottage. The cottage is a real home from home. I could have happily stayed there and not come home. It was vibe friendly, no “feelings” of anything but relaxation. The kitchen is huge and is built on as an extension. It is well appointed and has everything one would want to use to cook. The bathroom is downstairs but we quickly became used to that. It is a lovely bathroom, again, has everything you would need. Excellent “Christy” towels and a built in shower cubicle. Mandy also supplied washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. There was good quality shower gel too. Could have done with hotter water but that is my personal taste. The icing on the cake was the comfortable bed. The bedroom is quite big with plenty of wardrobe space and chest of drawers. There is also a washing hamper basket just to keep the place tidy. When the owner, Mandy had the work done on the cottage which I think was a grain store or some farm building, her carpenter suggested building a bed in the space left rather than buy a bog standard bed and have it squashed into another space. So this bed was built and it is high, the carpenter also made a genteelly rising set of steps to get into the bed. Once in bed, oh, the comfort. There are feather pillows for people who like them, me for instance, and synthetic for people who like them, my husband. The duvet seems huge and is feather and down. I slept so peacefully and warmly and comfortably I really wanted to bring the bed back with me strapped onto the roof of our car! If you were doing some work, I don’t know, writing a book or a Thesis and needed total quiet and concentration you could work in this cottage. The only problem with that is there is no signal for mobile phones, but perhaps that is a blessing. Internet connection was the same, but Mandy very kindly let me use her internet connection by giving me the security code. The garden of the cottage is very restful. Plenty of green, a patio table outside the kitchen. The Wales Costal path runs through the garden, another great attraction for walkers. There are plenty of walks if you are so inclined. There is even a private beach. But it is a bit of a climb down to this beach but if you are fit and experienced in walking you wouldn’t find it difficult. We took our Labrador Daisy with us and she had a great time just roaming on the farm. There are cows in the field to the left of the garden but as long as the gate is shut no problems came up. And it goes without saying that responsible dog owners would pick up after their dog. You won’t be disappointed with Morfa Isaf Cottage, and the price is good to for a week’s rental. Sykes cottages do the renting and they will answer any questions. They also have a web site. As an aside, the best fish and chips I have ever had were in Aberporth. We had heard there was a dog beach that dogs could use all the year around and that is why we went there. As it was a Saturday we decided to have fish and chips afterwards and all the fish is cooked to order and the chips are twice cooked so they are crispy. Prices are about the same as anywhere but worth every mouthful. There is a charge for car park of £3 and if the collector is not there, an honesty box exists. Another beach that is dog friendly all year around is Cwmtydu. The car park located a short walk along the road where a café and public conveniences can be found. Also situated just two miles inland from Cwmtydu is the Crown Inn & Restaurant at Llwyndafydd. We had lunch there before we went to the beach and they are a dog friendly pub too which is great. When we stayed in Broad Haven a couple of years ago we found a pub called the CAREW INN, PICTON TERRACE, CAREW, TENBY, DYFED SA70 8SL Tele: 01646 651 267. Even though the journey between Llangrannog and Carew was about 40 miles, we arranged Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. Choose between beef, pork and chicken. I choose the pork and it was meltingly tender but my husband found the chicken a tad dry. But then it was breast and not is personal choice. Every part of the lunch was superb, the gravy and the stuffing. I can’t praise it enough. To sum up I can’t speak highly enough of Morfa Isaf Cottage. I hope somebody else will feel the same. Thanks.
