What a lovely place. The cottage is delightful, pretty, clean cosy & WARM. Lovely views over countryside and lakes. My husband had a great time fishing. The cafe onsite is a great advantage, a good selection of food, and home made cakes are delicious. Do try the breakfast, very good indeed. Good produce, v well cooked. The cappucino would take some beating too, lovely to have in the afternoons with a piece of Zoes home made cake whilst sitting outside enjoying the surroundings. Staff are nice too, relaxed and pleasant. All in all a place we would highly recommend . Susan

Lovely location, very relaxing place. Nice cottage and homely. We would recommend this holiday to anyone who likes peace and quiet, and a friendly atmosphere. The cafe was also a welcome place to go sometimes when not wanting to cook. In all we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Fishermen would love this place as you can fish right on your doorstep.

Simon could not have been more helpful. and his home-made scones are worth a try. There is no wireless reception within 2 miles - some might say a good thing :-)

The scenery is outstanding and encourages you to relax and unwind. I got 'hooked' on fly fishing whilst we we there (no pun intended) and will definitely be returning very soon. We made new friends whilst we were there and I hope we will catch up with them again next time.

A little bit of wok to finish off the property but did not detract from our break. The property is compact but well designed & laid out in a perfect setting. We all enjoyed our stay. Could have stayed for longer regret not trying hand at fishing - maybe next time. Many thanks to Simon & his family for their hospitality and help. The Jarvey family
