Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
The apartment was fantastic and the owner was great; very friendly and helpful. It is 50 yards from the beach, next door to the hotel and above the cafe - what more do you want? The village is beautiful and quaint. Can't wait to visit again.
This is a great place to stay to enjoy the amenities of Aberdaron right on your doorstep The flat is greatt; a good size and with everything you need to make it a comfortable stay. Alun the owner is brilliant; very welcoming and as he runs the Ship Hotel next door, always on hand. We have booked again for next year and are really looking forward to our holiday!
Hen Blas is in a superb location. Very good hospitality and food at the hotel next door. The owner of the flat and hotel was very helpful and considerate.
It was a lovely peaceful place with friendly locals and a brilliant beach.
The location was superb, caters for all needs. Easy reach to golf courses, and very accommodating for dog lovers.
The location is perfect, we have just booked again for next year.
Again another warm welcome from the owner and his staff. A lovely holiday and great to be so near to the beach.
The setting is spot on - beside a stream, next door to the pub and one minute from the Blue Flag beach in the pretty seaside hamlet of Aberdaron. The flat above Hen Blas cafe was welcoming and comfortable. It is clean and very well equipped with pans, crockery, utensils etc and they even supplied cling film, kitchen, roll and foil as well as some "tupperware". The flat is "higgledy piggledy" with lots of character and a woodburner, but it is certainly not "posh": some of the decor is scuffed and the furniture is comfortable rather than smart. However, you can take your dog and relax without worrying too much about the furniture etc. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to people wanting a relaxing holiday with their dog, espercially as dogs are allowed at both ends of the beach.
Wonderful location.
Lovely convenient apartment, no complaints at all. We only used the car once all week, plenty of walking from the door and shops and pubs right on the doorstep. I have been visiting aberdaron since 1958 and I love it so I am biased but it is a lovely holiday centre.
Received excellant service from owner, who lived next door. Sea front was very convenient to reach. Small friendly community with shops, pubs and cafes local and close by. Plenty of walks around the coast. Great place for children.
We had a fabulous week staying here in aberdaron. The property was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The key holder was great and very helpful It was a super location and the only slight downside was the lack of outside space and parking. Nevertheless, I would recommend this property.
Nice location. Easy walking distance to beach, cliff walks and amenities. Owner very nice and helpful. Plenty of room for four and a dog. Kitchen well equipped. We had a super week.
A super place for a holiday. Great location and the property ticked all the boxes. The owner was so accommodating and couldn't help enough. Will be re-booking next year.
We stayed at Hen Blas with our two children ages 9 and 5 and our jack Russell. We loved the location, a stones throw from the beach and a lovely outlook onto the river, bridge and pretty village of Aberdaron. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed including towels and toiletries. We enjoyed our free breakfast that was arranged with the holiday and Alun the owner was most helpfully and a great host. We had many meals in the Ship hotel next door which Is run by the same team and the food was excellent. You really don't need to go anywhere else whist on holiday here, everything is on your doorstep!
The owner was very hospitable and helpful.
Lovely situation in centre of village very close to front, cosy flat, very friendly and helpful owners.
The property was in a great location, well furnished and very comfortable. The owner was most helpful and dealt with a minor problem very promptly and efficiently.
