Cancelled this booking because of the reviews, lost deposit for know fault of ours, only because the reviews was shocking. Sykes, could only say the issue had been delt with and that the problem had been rectified, that was, may June & July .
Furniture very uncomfortable now have back neck. Views amazing. Property very old. No bins in either toilets could go on but would not recommend this property to anyone
Not as advertised, photos not up to date , furniture uncomfortable, Including the bed . ,property neglected, On arrival no key handed over as previous tenant had taken it home with them so we had to wait 3 days to get it posted back to owner . .We were unable to lock up when we went out . Boiler didnt work so no hot water / heating ,had to keep phoning owner out to get it working again . Wife ripped her coat on door lock which was sharp and the owner was informed about the door lock on day of arrival , as he did nothing about it he did offer to pay for her coat ( £50) . Nightmare of a holiday so we left early and were never asked why ?? Tried for full refund but only offered £100 plus £50 for coat . Had to wait 10days for that as it was i will sort it tomorrow but tomorrow never came ....We hadnt had a holiday for 3years and this was beyond dissapointing .
The location is nothing short of amazing-perfectly positioned for the beach, shops and tourist spots all over North Wales. We were greeted by the wonderful Mrs Jill Gethin an extremley young and physically fit 84 year old lady. We returned to the lodge after a day out and she was gardening and tidying the grounds. The views from the decking are to die for, the lodge is modern and fully fitted with all you require...we intend to return twice next year
We stayed here for a family holiday, the lodge is beautiful and very clean, amazing views. The lodge has everything you need for a great stay, you dont need to pack alot of clothes as there is a washing machine which with two children came in very handy. there is a town nearby, it has a tesco also the town has some lovely places to eat, the lady who owns the lodge is lovely and very friendly, very welcoming. Such a lovely week away, just a shame the weather was very bad, we will be planning on coming back soon :)
Beautiful scenery, picture postcard. A useful base from which to explore local sights.
The Lodge was lovely, it was very clean and had everything you needed. The views out of the windows were amazing, when you opened the curtains in the mornings it was beautiful. It is an idyllic spot. The owner is a lovely lady.
Summertime Lodge was lovely and the location was amazing. Views were breathtaking. The owner was a lovely host, very helpful and friendly.
The balcony is large with fantastic views, the beds are comfy and it's completely quiet at night. We had a really good week.
Wonderful week in a wonderful lodge. The owner is just a joy to deal with, I cannot rate this place highly enough.
We had a very good holiday. The Lodge was very well set out and we will go again, everything you need is there, the view is great and the owner is fantastic - cannot do enough for you.
Really enjoyed our short visit to this property. Hope to go there again soon.
Our week was definitely enhanced by incredible weather - and the decked outside seating area was just perfect, with a view to die for, overlooking rolling fields and hills with a few very relaxed-looking sheep! The road behind the lodge was close but not very busy and didn't spoil the peace and quiet. The lounge was plenty big enough for four adults and the kitchen was perfectly adequate as long as you took it in turns cooking, as it was a bit snug. The bedrooms were small and a bit cramped but we all slept well so what did it matter? The only thing that I missed was a lock on the bathroom door - it would have been OK for a family but four adults found they needed to do a lot of singing in the shower to avoid embarrassment! Our landlady was lovely and the lodge was well placed for visiting the whole of North Wales. Overall a great holiday and good value for money.
The location was fantastic - close to village amenities but quiet and rural. The veranda/decking area was perfect with a beautiful view. The gas barbecue was much appreciated and there was plenty of outside seating space for four people. Our landlady was friendly and very helpful.
Felt like home from home. The views from the decking were breathtaking
The Cottage is exactly as described. The owner was warm and welcoming. In a lovely setting with great views.
