Tree Tops, Scarborough

This is a wonderful spot for staying in Scarborough, everything is close by and in easy walking distance. Gillian the host welcomed us on arrival like old friends. She explained how everything worked, checked in with us to see that we were ok and was only ever a phone call away if we needed anything. The accommodation was really well presented, everything was provided, we liked the layout as there were only two of us, so it felt very homely and cosy. We think Tree Tops is tops and we are already planning our next visit.

This apartment is a hidden gem. It's compact but perfect for a couple. The owner Gillian met us on arrival and was very helpful in advising us where the local pubs, shops, takeaways and restaurants were. She'd even taken on board that we were on public transport and gave us details of the various bus routes we needed to get out and about. There were more than adequate supplies of tea and coffee. The accommodation was very clean and bedding, towels, toilet and kitchen rolls were also supplied. We had a really good week and Gillian's mid week call to check if everything was OK was a nice touch. Gillian was such an excellent host that she even returned some washing we'd left in the machine. We'd certainly recommend this property.

The apartment is on Trafalgar Square, a 10 minute walk to town and a similar distance to the North Bay. It is a cosy, well-equipped apartment, ideal for a couple. Booking was easy, and the owner was there to greet us and show us the ropes. A huge bonus (for us) was having 2 excellent restaurants within a short walk: Kam Sang (Chinese, on North Marine Road) and the even better AZ Turkish restaurant on Columbus Ravine. Peasholm Park and Scarborough cricket ground are also close by. Recommended as a reasonably priced, one bedroom/ one living room apartment.

My partner and I loved our time at tree tops; it had everything we needed. There is a cafe which does a fantastic breakfast at the end of the street, the shops are nearby and the pier is within walking distance. We will definitely be returning!

First time we've booked a town centre flat but key entry and parking scratch card arrangements could not have been better after helpful contact with owner. The flat was very comfy with great access to local amenities such as Peaseholm Park, walks along the the prom and loads of restaurants within walking distance. The flat also proved a great centre for visits along coast to Staithes, Whitby, Bridlington etc. and inland to National Yorks Moors Park. Excellent autumn holiday!”

Met the landlady who was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely little break overlooking a nice little grassed area. Central but secluded, we would stay again and have already recommended it to some friends.

Over all the apartment was reasonable for our stay but could of done with a more comfortable settee and bed.

Had another great stay at this amazing property. It was so cosy, clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back.

Everything exceeded expectation, everything we could possibly need was amply provided. Parking was amazing, every night we were parked virtually outside the apartment. We can absolutely recommend Tree Tops, it was the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in, and with the most comfortable bed.

Had a great stay at tree tops the flat is clean near shops and beach would recommend it to friends and family and a warm welcome too

We received a lovely warm welcome by the owner. The apartment was fantastic wth everything you needed to hand; the owner had thought of everything. The location of the apartment was fantastic; centrally situated to take in all of the town with great access to shops and restaurants. We loved every minute of our stay.

A lovely flat with a view of the square's garden, just the correct size for 2 people. The owners included everything required for a quiet pleasant holiday, we had a great time. We liked being able to walk to the beach and town centre and not having to drive.

There was everything you could possibly want for a good holiday in this apartment. Plenty of parking outside with shops and pubs nearby.

Lovely flat ideal for a couple on holiday. Easy distance to local shops, town centre, sea front and castle. Owner extremely welcoming, we would stay there again.

The apartment was in an excellent position, only minutes walk from the north beach and central for shops and restaurants. The apartment had everything you could need for two people and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again and recommend the accommodation.

A very enjoyable weeks stay in the apartment. The weather was perfect, lovely walks and a handy supermarket was about 10 minutes walk away. Also, a lovely fresh fish shop close by, such a treat to get fish and shell fish so fresh, we had a variety every day.

The apartment was excellent, a perfect size and very well equipped. The location was very convenient and we were able to park the car (free of charge) and walk to the North and South Bays. The owner could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent property, nice to find a pint of milk, bottle of wine and many staples like sugar and oil, just makes you think the owners care about the property and the standard of holiday offered.

Flat was modern and compact. It was situated close to all parts of the main areas of Scarborough. The owners provided tea coffee biscuits and wine. Extra black out blind in bedroom was a good extra. Although there are stairs to flat, there aren't many and they are not really steep ones. Parking on our stay was easily available close to the property with scratch cards provided by the owners.

Apartment was really central, was like a home from home, it was clean and was well stocked with everything you would need for a self catering holiday.

The property was in an excellent location, it exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be returning!

Really close to local shops & seafront very easy to get to train station (as we came all the way from Essex) Highly recommend this!

I could not find any fault with the accommodation it was excellent in every way. The location was great. Easy walking distance to both beaches, the main town and all facilities. The accommodation overlooked some gardens which were great and well kept by the local residents. I had a great holiday.

We were very pleased with the standard of the apartment and had a great time there.
