Lovely little house right in the centre of Seahouses. Very clean throughout, perfect base for our holiday. The owners had even provided essentials on arrival - tea , coffee , milk , etc , and even a bottle of prosecco ! Would recommend.

Rated by Mr Thornton reviewed on 4th May 2014

The house was clean and warm, and these are important factors when choosing a holiday let. It was also easy to live in, simple and unfussy. The location within the village was fabulous, the estate was very quiet and the Ship Inn were only a few minute's walk away. The variety of local shops for browsing or shopping was excellent. The Indian restaurant at the top of the village was very good. We will be going back next year.

Rated by Mrs Parkes reviewed on 28th October 2013

A very well appointed property in a very convenient location for everything in Seahouses, and an excellent base for touring the area. Everything spotlessly clean, and in good order, a real credit to the owners.

Rated by Mr Abbott reviewed on 16th September 2013

Crumstone Corner was one of the best holiday accommodations we have stayed at. Very clean and welcoming. We would definitely go there again.

Lovely house in heart of Seahouses, and yet a quiet location. Short walking distance to the harbour and front area where can take boats to Farne Island. Seahouses is a great base to get out and explore Northumbria. Even okay for day trip to Edinburgh. House well equipped and tastefully laid out throughout.

Rated by Mr Smith reviewed on 9th August 2013

The house was on a small housing estate right in the middle of the village. It was very close to shops, the harbour and the sea. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area of Northumberland.

Very clean, warm and well presented with plenty of utensils and equiptment. Everthing in the property you would have in your own home. Very nice touch with welcome pack, including toiletries. Garage playroom excellent for kids. Very handy spot for Town , just a pity about the chip shops at the back of the property , however there is a lovely quite garden with garden furniture at the front of the propery would certainly use again and recommend to others.

Rated by Mrs Wheatley reviewed on 31st August 2012

This cottage was so conveniently situated in the heart of town. Anyone without a car would not be bothered. I walked to the harbour most days (3 mins). The general fit out of the cottage was excellent and added to the enjoyment of the holiday.

Rated by Mr Duckworth reviewed on 25th July 2012

Lovely and warm, very clean and very well maintained and equipped. We felt at home. Lovely welcome pack including shower gel, soap and body lotions as well as milk, wine cakes etc. Excellent location near the centre of town with a great front garden. The games room was brilliant especially if you had young children or teenagers. This was a great location with plenty to see in the surrounding area. The pubs were friendly and served good food. The boat trips were well worth doing, however, watch out for extra landing charge on the islands with some companies. Chillingham castle was brilliant, better than Bamborough we thought.

Rated by Mrs Scholes reviewed on 10th June 2012

Location was very good for our photography sites. House was comfortable and clean. Easy to keep clean. Easy access to shops and great eating places.

Rated by Mr Drysdale reviewed on 23rd October 2011

This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in and fulfilled all our needs. We had oour 11 year Grandson with us so the location was excellent giving him freedom and safety. There was plenty of space in the cottage, so many are cramped. I would no recommend this to people who are unable to go out most of the time as there is no view and at times the smell of fish and chips does invade the property. Suited us perfectly on that occasion.

We've stayed in Crumstone Corner five times so we must think it's pretty good! It is very close to the harbour, beach and shops in Seahouses, and literally 20 seconds from the Old Ship - the best pub in the village - but it is still in a quiet location! Seahouses is an ideal location for walking, bird watching and visiting the Farne Islands.
