The harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula. The village, a popular sailing venue, offers three beaches, as well as shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs to explore, plus the towns of Pwllheli and Criccieth are nearby, and within driving distance are the Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
On arrival found someone else's laundry in washing machine. In the week we were there no one came to collect it. Lots of cobwebs particularly in lounge & ladies hair accessory on floor in lounge No shower for 1st 48hrs. Duvets very thin & inadequate for time of year. Plus side the location is great. Well equipped. Lovely welcome pack. We contacted the agents, Sykes Cottages, they didn't bother to reply. Would I stay again? Probably not. Would I recommend Sykes Cottages? Definitely not.
Lovely cottage in Abersoch. The position is perfect, very handy for the beaches which was great for the kids and also handy for the main street and the restuarants.
A clean and fresh house in the centre of Abersoch gave us a good break from the city.
The smaller of the two cottages is cosy and compact. We knew its location was second to none, being two minutes from shops, deli and pub.The outlook of the cottage was wonderful. It was well equipped and comfortable.Unfotunately we were told not to use the open fire, but the central heating was fine. The double bed was not comfortable and we had to raid the single beds in order to provide enough bedding to keep warm.Parking was off road and we were the only car using the area.I would imagine there could be a problem with two cars being parked. All in all we had an excellent week with location being the number one attraction.
Clean well appointed property that let us have a nice break.
Knowing Abersoch very well, I knew this was in the perfect spot. It's just a couple of minutes to the village but with lovely views of the harbour. The cottage is cosy, extremely well equipped and attractive inside. The only problem we had was that we couldn't light the fire properly and gave up but the heating was more than adequate. This place is well worth a visit and we will definitely be going back.
This holiday cottage was clean, well presented and well equipped. It was conveniently near to the local shops and eating places. The excellent main beach was only a short walk away. All in all a most pleasing experience.
We liked the location of the cottage as you could walk to all the amenities, also the views from the upstairs windows were lovely. The closeness to the sea was excellent as we could take our cup of tea out in a morning and look at the sea. Excellent.

A lovely cottage in a brilliant location. Look forward to visiting again.
