The harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula. The village, a popular sailing venue offers three beaches, as well as shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs to explore, plus the towns of Pwllheli and Criccieth are nearby, and within driving distance are the Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Despite booking this property 12 months in advance via a third party, receiving a confirmation number and paying for the accommodation, the owner decided to cancel our booking and take one from a long standing, repeat customer, with absolutely no recourse for me, my family and 2 small children. To make matters worse my best friend, his family and child had to cancel their holiday too in order for us to all be together. Morally, professionally or socially this is an abhorrent and mercenary approach to business and customer service. Trust this owner at your own risk!
Cottage in an ideal situation for our needs. Within five minutes walk of the beach and yacht club along a public footpath. Great views from the front bedroom windows. Cottage very well equipped. Very spacious living rooms. Shops and restaurants literally just around the corner.
The location of the property was fantastic and the standard was excellent. We were very comfortable in the cottage.
A lovely cottage, had a great time. Thank you.
