I echo all the positive comments from the previous reviews. Stayed here for a week with my 82 year old mother and the bungalow was just perfect, very clean with everything we needed and the added bonus of chocolates and biscuits to welcome us. The owners met us and helped us with our bags after a long drive, showed us round the cottage and informed us where the local shops were. The bungalow is set on the cliff with the beach a short walk away and we spent many hours watching the wildlife (rabbits, duck, Canada Geese and a kestrel) and the ships coming from and going into Lowestoft harbour. It's also a brilliant place for stargazing with no light pollution, the night sky was absolutely breathtaking. The cottage is aptly named and worth getting up early to watch the sunrise! The location is perfect for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk and we will definitely come again. Thank you for a lovely restful and peaceful week.

We stayed at Sunrise cottage Kessingland Suffolk from 4th to 11th of March to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were met by the very friendly owners with the key, and helped with our cases into the property. It was spotless, well stocked, warm and cosy and has beautiful views of the dunes and sea. We normally go away to cottages at this time of year, and this was definitely one of our better choices. We will undoubtedly be returning in the near future.

You really couldn't ask for more. Excellent bungalow, gorgeous views of the sea and great access to the beach. The bungalow was all we needed: extremely clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need (as well as, toys beach gear and a kite!). The thoughtfulness is very impressive and kind. Kessingland beach is just around the corner (private access is possible but the gate wasn't open), but another path is just around the corner. Took us 10/15 minutes to walk to the sea (at a 3 year old pace). We also visited SeaLife in Great Yarmouth, Africa Alive (simply brilliant) and Dinosaur Adventure in Norwich (my 3 year olds heaven!). We brought tickets online as they are cheaper than buying them on the day. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday - I will really miss the sea view.

We were not disappointed with the accommodation. Very clean, modern, good parking. We enjoyed looking out of the large window to the sea and access to beach and lovely walks. Easy access to A12 for getting around the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Completely agree with all positive comments found on Sykes Holidays TripAdvisor section. Fish and chips delivered for a small charge - brilliant. Only negative points are a tiny kitchen with limited storage space, no freezer or washing machine if required. However, the three of us managed easily for a week. Wi-fi would have been nice. Kessingland village a bit disappointing but ideal for visiting surrounding area.

There was a real "homely" feel about the property. Great efforts had been made by the owners to ensure that we felt comfortable. The property was exceptionally well equipped and there were many extra touches which had been provided over and above what we would expect in a holiday property. The standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was in an excellent position with a sea view and local amenities readily available.

We were warmly welcomed by the lovely owners. The bungalow was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for your holiday. The location was ideal with a lovely view of the sea. We had a lovely holiday and would recommend this property to couples or small families. We don't usually book a property more than once but are hoping to go back again before too long!

The cottage was beautifully appointed and very clean. Mum and Dad really enjoyed watching the bird life. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owners made us very welcome and were very kind in providing a birthday card and bottle of wine for my Dad's 90th birthday. He was very touched by this show of kindness. We look forward to a return visit.

Sunrise is a beautiful bungalow and our every comfort had been thought of. Great views out to sea and beautiful sunrises. The bungalow is cosy and comfortable and the owner gave us a lovely welcome. We will hopefully come back later in the year. A great base to explore this part of Suffolk.

Rated by Mrs Klingler reviewed on 24th August 2013

We very much enjoyed our holiday. The cottage overlooks the sea and is just a few minutes walk from the beach. The kitchen was small but very well equipped and the bathroom, living room and bedrooms were very well furnished and comfortable, and it was spotlessly clean throughout.

Rated by Mr Turner reviewed on 5th August 2013

Sunrise was home from home, with lovely views out to sea. Suffolk was a great place to visit, Southwold, Lavenham, and Somerleyton were favourites.
