Millennium Cottage, Christon Bank

We really enjoyed our holiday at Millennium cottage. The home was spacious, great for a big family, with a good games room and piano room for the children and a nice decking area to sit out on during the summer evenings.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and spacious with an attractive garden. It was very well equipped and the wifi was fast and reliable. The cottage was well positioned for all the places we wanted to visit in Northumberland, both on the coast and inland. Overall, this was one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

The cottage was a fabulous place to stay, especially as the weather was so awful. It is very clean, spacious, comfortable and really well equipped in the kitchen. We will definitely be back.

This is a very nice house for a family holiday. The accommodation is very good with plenty of room and entertainment for children, including an excellent games room with table football, pool table and interactive video games. The location is superb as it is perfectly sited for a host of holiday and tourist attractions, whatever the weather.

Perfect location for our family reunion. The cottage was in a great location, allowing us a central base with which to accomplish so much. The cottage offered a very clean, warm and comfortable home to come back to each evening.

This was an excellent holiday house, standards were well above average. We received a lovely welcome pack, and the property was very well equipped and beautifully clean. Would certainly recommend and return. The area is also lovely with beautiful coastlines and interesting castles.

This is a great holiday Cottage for a large family as it is very spacious and comfortable. The sizeable garden and games room was particularly appreciated by the younger members. The location is also excellent for exploring the area.

The house was perfect for a 4 generation family holiday. In a perfect setting, in the countryside but very close to the beautiful Embleton Bay. Highlights included sitting on the deck watching the owls hunt at dusk and watching the rabbits play in the field.

The cottage was amazing. As an added, very welcome bonus, the main bedroom had a nursery attached which was perfect for our toddler. The gardens were amazing and this was the best cottage we have stayed at.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Millenium cottage, the description doesn't do it justice. One of the upstairs double rooms has a nursery room attached which was perfect. All the rooms are very spacious and airy. We loved the outdoor space,, it was so much more than we expected. Loved watching the rabbits in the field at the back. Brilliant location, Tranquill where you are but only a few miles to fantastic beaches, attractions and shops.

A great base to explore the Northumberland area. Millennium Cottage is spacious and well equipped with particular attention to detail to ensure a very successful holiday home. The accommodation suits all ages but is particularly suitable for children with its large garden, playroom and additional lounge. The information pack is comprehensive and up-to-date. The owner is easily contacted and particularly helpful.

Had lots of space for all the guests, it was lovely having a big dining table in the kitchen as it was sociable whilst cooking.

Excellent property and does what it says on the tin! Very well equipped and the welcome hamper a nice little extra touch. We stayed early November to visit family in Berwick so didn't make full use of the garden which looked lovely and excellent for young children to run around in safely. We stayed as a couple of just two ( we like space in and around us) and found the cottage to be all that we could ask for. Will definitely stay again next time we are visiting up north.

Excellent location for exploring Northumberland. The property was fantastic and in a nice quite area but close enough to plenty of amenities. Overall made for a great holiday.

Just loved everything about the house, we spent a family holiday there and it provided everything we wanted. In a good location for visiting the surrounding area, the beaches, castles and lovely countryside. It was fun to make our own entertainment in the evening and the games provided made it very competitive. The house had lots of space, would well recommend it and would stay there again.

We are a group of 7 ladies who enjoy walking. The cottage was perfect for our requirements. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent and the decked area in the garden with table and chairs provided an ideal place to relax with a drink after a day's walk.

A nice space for a family gathering and the cottage location meant not too much travelling to get to our favourite places. The children enjoyed the trampoline, garden space and pool table. The owner called to check everything was ok and they left linen for our second week. We hope to return to the property next year.

Enjoyed a wonderful holiday this well equipped and spotless cottage with a mixed party. The accommodations flexibility for use by couples and singles was ideal. A car is definitely required to get to the coast unless committed walkers! I hope to visit again in 2015

Excellent location for coast and inland, a beautiful area with many attractions to visit. A spacious, well priced cottage. The teenage grandsons appreciated good WiFi connection, outside space and games room. Enjoyed sitting on the decking area in evening sunshine and made use of BBQ. The generous welcome pack was a thoughtful bonus. A choice of supermarkets nearby and the village shop was adequate for basics. The Cottage was very well equipped and clean.

Excellent well equipped property centrally situated to visit all local attractions and only 10 minutes from the best beach in Northumberland.

The location was excellent and the garden was really good for my 18 month old grandson. He could safely play on the deck and he loved the sheep in the field at the back.

Lovely large cottage in a beautiful area, cottage had everything we needed for a group of 7. Excellent large kitchen, bedrooms a good size, comfortable lounge and a handy second lounge too. Garden was great for children to play.

It was a very comfortable house, all of our family enjoyed it. The owner was very helpful and responded promptly to our requests. The surrounding area was beautiful and very unspoilt.

The property was a sizeable detached house with plenty of land. We enjoyed the space and privacy. The kitchen was wonderful, utility room well equipped, log burner great fun and very toasty. Overall a lovely holiday home.

The house was very warm and spacious, which added to the overall enjoyment. Looked forward to coming home at night after a day sightseeing and enjoying the area.

Lovely, spacious property and gardens in an ideal location to discover Northumberland's beaches and attractions.

The hosts were very welcoming and a lovely welcome hamper with goodies. The hoe was spacious and nicely decorated throughout. Inside was suitable for person in wheelchair to get around- however steps up to property. downstair bathroom with shower (not level access)wonderful patio doors on to the decking area at the back of the house overlooking out onto the fields and garden. Lovely kitchen / dining area. Upstairs rooms spacious and again well presented. Downside was the mattresses in the rooms apart from main bedroom were not of good quality. The gardens and games area were a big bonus. Local pub food not great. Good location for exploring surrounding area and nice to come back to a warm house. Had a great time and would go back again.

Well equipped, spacious property with a very big garden. Good location near to a local shop and pub. Within easy reach of all local beaches. Welcome hamper was a nice feature and loved the open fields & sheep to the rear of the property.

We liked the rural, quiet location and the friendly hosts. A perfect location for visiting the local coastline.

We liked the wildlife in proximity to the house and the warmth provided by the Rayburn.
