You'll find a shop in 2.9 miles and a pub in 2.5 miles. Rocklands House is a wonderful base for exploring County Kerry. Note: There are steps in the garden. Location Details

At the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks, close to the Gap of Dunloe, lies the little village of Beaufort. This area offers beautiful mountain views and is a nice place to go for a walk. The village is located between Killorglin and Killarney and has shops, pubs, and restaurants. Killarney is a popular destination for tourists every year because of its expansive countryside, nearby beaches, yearly festivals, and vibrant nightlife, which features traditional music in many of the pubs and bars. There are a variety of activities available in the area, including guided ascents to the peak of Ireland's tallest mountain, Carrauntoohil, as well as riding, walking, cycling, golf, and fishing.

County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

Rented this 4 BR house for three days, four residents. Loved the setting, close to the Gap of Dunloe and the Reeks, easy drive west of Killarney. Modern construction located on the site of an old family house (look for the photo). Lidl supermarket a short distance away. Easy drive to Kerry Ring and Dingle. Loved the two-level sitting areas, modern kitchen, ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom includes a crib.
