Reviews

Superb place with everything that was needed for our stay. Very comfy bed and sofa as well as an easy to use oven and washing machine. No garden as such but a decked area at the front and I am guessing upstairs is wooden flooring as this apartment was as you could hear them, but it was certainly bearable. Own parking space and excellent location, 5 minutes to the North Beach and town centre.

Rated by Rachel C reviewed on 4th August 2023

Lovely clean modern apt close to the beach and Tenby town ,this apartment is advertised as having a garden but it is in fact a small decked area at the front which is overlooked by parked cars and the houses opposite so no privacy to sit outside and have a meal.Well equipped kitchen. This would stop me returning also no soundproofing from the upstairs apartment ,children running around and up and down stairs from the crack of dawn, every conversation could be heard when the door was open. A washing machine would be in preference to a dishwasher which is not needed for 2 people.

The property was in an excellent position, being near the town, beach and all facilities. It was comfortable, cosy and quiet. The general cleanliness and facilities were excellent. Great value for money. We'll be back!

Rated by Mr Williams reviewed on 4th January 2016

The apartment was warm, bright and contemporary. It was well equipped and the real bonus was being so close to Tenby centre and the sea, but still being in a quiet residential area. The surroundings were quiet and pleasant. It was useful being able to park in a private secluded parking area right outside the apartment. Overall we were very happy and would stay there again.

Rated by Mrs Holmes reviewed on 28th July 2014

The overall look of the accommodation was very good. Tenby is a very nice place to visit.

Rated by Mr Welch reviewed on 4th May 2014

This south facing apartment is very light, comfortable and roomy for two. There is ample parking space, which otherwise can be difficult in this old part of town. The owner was extremely helpful. The location is only a minute or two's walk from beautiful beaches, from wonderful coastal scenery and from the very centre of the lovely old town of Tenby, which has some unique shops and great pubs and restaurants; including one of the best in Wales for fish and chips.

Rated by Mr Jordan reviewed on 29th December 2013

A lovely place to stay, in a lovely community. Excellent.

Rated by Miss Trimble reviewed on 30th November 2013

The Mushroom house was a ground floor apartment, it was clean but needs a few things to make it a little better, the settee was uncomfy it sank when u sat on it, and they need to put cleaning products in the place and a guest book, and a welcome tray, the holiday was fab as the sun shone nearly all week. Also the tennants in the upstairs apt were so noisy running around and shouting at 2am in the morning, so neither of us slept till we got home.

Rated by Ally196214 reviewed on 5th September 2013

The apartment was clean and very close to the beach and town. If your not going outside of Tenby there is no need to use the car after arriving.

Rated by Ms Coleman reviewed on 14th July 2013

The appartment had all that was necessary for our stay, even to the extra touches, like liquid soap, towels, tea towels + washing sponge. it was nice to see that they also recycled, and had the necessary bins. The only small downside, was the settee could do with a little attention to make it a little more comfy.. Lovely off the road small complex, but near to where we wanted to go.

The cottage was in a very central location meaning we didn't need to use the car to go to the town or the beach. It was well appointed with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and the parking outside was a great asset.

Rated by Mrs Yhnell reviewed on 21st March 2011

We stayed in the mushroom house (lower apt), very nice, modern ,with everything that we needed and we really enjoyed tenby and the surrounding places.if i have to find fault it is that the noise from the upstairs apt is a bit too much at times especially if like us you find there are young children up there.

Rated by A FlipKey verified reviewer reviewed on 11th November 2010

Tastefully decorated and well-appointed with modern furnishings. Location was excellent in a quiet sunny courtyard within short walking distance of town centre. We found the many tourist leaflets and information provided in the appartment very useful indeed and the owner was friendly and willing to offer advice & help to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Best thing - location. Worst thing - lack of many Sky TV channels!

The owner of the accommodation was very helpfull. He came to see us just after we arrived to make sure everything was OK. The flat was very modern and clean and had everything that you needed. Only five minutes walk from North Beach. Tenby is a lovely town with beautiful beaches. Be warned, most of the pubs only serve food up to 18:00hours so you need to find somewhere that opens late (very few). The cafe on the corner of North Beach is very good and late. We would seriously think of visiting Tenby again.
