Reviews

Stayed here for 3 nights and I have nothing bad to say. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and is fully equipped for your every need. The owner, Ann I believe, was very welcoming and greeted us shortly after arriving. The views are stunning and the whole place is set in a lovely location and I would recommend staying here, I certainly would go back for a longer stay. I didn't manage to see Ann on leaving so if you are reading this Ann Thank you very much.

Out in the middle of no where down muddy dirty lanes you arrive at these calm and tranquil converted cow sheds, and what a job Ann and Howard have done. They've left nothing out not that I could think of, the space in them is excellent, all under floor heated an each cottage has all the equipment you are going to need of a stay just bring food and your clothes Hair dryers washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer, toaster, microwave, cookers, iron plus board literally everything you could move in WiFi sky blah blah Wheel chair accessable cottages with wide doors, one is purpose made with wet room. And those little extras to get you started tea milk coffee sugar .... It goes on and lovely views across the countryside outstanding

This was our second visit to Wheal Hart and we were once again delighted. Every aspect is exemplary, the location, the welcome, the property, the equipment and the standard or cleanliness. We will very likely be back.

I particularly liked the décor and cleanliness of the cottage and it's tranquil surroundings. The cottage has tremendous character with the beams and exposed brick. I liked the little finishing touches the owner placed around the cottage.

A lovely quiet location with beautiful views. Wheal Hart was an extremely comfortable place to return to after a busy day exploring Newquay and it's surrounding areas. The owners were always on hand if you needed them and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I would recommend this property to anyone.I cannot explain to people how perfect the cottage was.The property was extremely clean and well furnished. The kitchen was just amazing, It had everything you could wish for and more.It was the little things that made the differences.BBQ charcoal was there, along with lighter fluid and matches (all separate), a bottle of wine waiting for us as soon as we pulled up.The owner came over and introduced himself. He shown us where everything was, how everything worked and then got a map out and recommended places. We had an issue with the fridge breaking which the owner resolved in minutes. This cottage is perfect.

A truly amazing cottage and so are the owners. I can not praise this cottage enough. It is like being in a home from home. Everything which you need it is there and more. The cottage is out of the village but only 5 minutes drive and about 7 minutes from the main road if you go the other way up the lane but we liked this. We could get to the beaches quickly through St Newley and the main road on to the Dual carriage way the other way. A perfect place to stay if you want to explore and so peaceful it is unbelievable. The only sounds were a tractor, owls and birds of pray flying high in the air. Just perfect for families, friends and couples of all ages.

A lovely barn conversion in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to visit all the Cornwall attractions. Two bedrooms, both with en suite which was very useful with 3 teenage daughters. Very home from home, everything you need for a comfortable stay...they had Sky fitted the day we arrived & the Wifi was a must after a full day out, the girls disappeared into their room on their tablets!! Happy girls means happy holiday!!
