I wouldn't stay here again for free. Kitchen especially wasn't clean. Ww had to scrub pans crockery cutlery for an hour before we could do anything. Drainboard and rack were filthy with a used hair clip full of hair on drainer.Oven was disgusting as were cupboards under sink. Under beds and cupboards were thick dust. Mattress had marks all over in one bedroom. View was wonderful.

First, the positives - good location, good sized accommodation for 2 (would be cramped for a family). Off road parking also a bonus. Having a garden was nice. You are quite overlooked but would be fine for kids to play etc. This could be a really nice property with an overhaul. The negatives: There were a number of issues with the property which individually are minor, however, taken together give it a rather sad air of neglect. We expected a bit more for the price...or at least for the basics to be there. There was a general lack of cleanliness (the bungalow is obviously given a quick clean between guests, bedding changed etc, but a more thorough deep clean needs doing). The bedding needs replacing - duvets and pillows are thin & limp & covers are faded & tired-looking. Same with the towels which, while clean, were snagged & marked. Sofas are stained & sagging. Sky digibox remote appeared to be broken. Many breakages/snags generally. The addition of a wall bracket for the shower would be a huge bonus. There are some issues around the parking also & you do have to keep an eye on your car. One of the neighbours in particular seemed to take a great interest in the car & outside the cottage seems to be a popular place for the local children to play football & throw stones! In summary the location & size of the accommodation are good but it just needs some attention – a deep clean, sorting out of the snags & some new equipment/furnishings. Then I think it would be good value for money.

Really enjoyed our stay at Gorwel, it was well equipped, warm and spotlessly clean. Views from the front of the house of the hills were lovely.

The bungalow was lovely, comfortable and cosy, and so nice to go back to after tiring days touring the area. Also very well equipped. It is very well situated and easy to find, with the pub, where we were allowed to take our dog into, just 5 minutes walk away. Lovely views from the front of the property.

The property, in regards to being equipped, was the best I have ever stayed in. They have thought of everything.

This holiday property was spot on. Very peaceful and the view from the living room window and front door is amazing. Walking in the area is also good, we had a very good week. Thank you

We had a lovely time on our holidays. The cottage was lovely with beautiful views across the mountains and it is in a very good position for travelling to different areas without having to drive too far and we really enjoyed the walks. We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

It was clean and the owner was brilliant on the phone when I talked to him. It was a lovely place and would come back again. I would tell family and friends about our experience and would advise all to enjoy the same accommodation as we did. Thank you.

We found the bungalow lovely, warm and clean with an outstanding view. The location is perfect for day trips and also plenty of walking opportunities within the immediate area. We had the best family holiday staying here, visiting Snowden, Conwy, Llandudno, Harlech, Porthmadog and the surrounding areas.
