Just stayed for a week at the Stable. Really nice property, converted from the former stable block. There’s a four poster (double), a downstairs double and an upstairs twin room. Loads of amenities, including all the kitchen kit you’d ever need. Fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer property, and the location is stunning. Topped off with six Shetland’s in the field next door who’ll gladly trade carrots for patting.
Lovely cottage set in beautiful, peaceful location yet easy to travel to lakes or N Yorkshire. Log fire to cosy up in the evenings. Would definitely recommend and return if we're in the area.
Beautiful cottage, lovely location and very friendly hosts. We all had a really relaxing family break!
A beautiful cottage with very friendly owners, loved it.
A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The house was very clean and tidy with a charming décor. Our hosts were also very friendly and helpful.
Such a relaxing time at The Stable. The owners were lovely and helpful and it is in a quiet location but only a few minutes from the motorway. Definitely recommend The Stable for your next getaway. We will get back!
A lovely cottage in keeping with surrounding's. The owners were really welcoming and friendly and the weather was fantastic, which we ordered in advance!
Very roomy, plenty of seating in kitchen and lounge. All towels, linen, dish washer tablets, shower gel supplied and a food welcome basket of tea, coffee milk bread and butter. The Owner was very welcoming as well and pleasant.
Lovely welcome from owners. Great welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. House very comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for our three children to play. Also very well equipped including little touches like bubble bath, shower gel and hand soap in bathrooms. Lovely outlook, very quiet and restful. Easy access to main roads. We never travelled more than an hour to whatever activity we had chosen each day including to Morecambe and into The Lake District. Our eldest daughter was fascinated by the tame chicken called Henrietta, but whom she christened Henny Penny. We hope to return next year.
Very quiet and nice surroundings. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday
