Reviews

We arrived at Settle station and walked for 10 minutes not knowing what to expect. Well we were blown out of the water, although this cottage is on a fairly busy road the traffic does not bother you. The cottage was clean and well furnished, everything you could possibly want. The beds are really comfortable.plenty of hot water and clean towels. The welcome pack and fresh flowers are a lovely touch. We have had a lovely visit and don't want to go home on Friday. The added bonus has been the glorious weather

Perfectly situated for places like Malham and the Ribble Valley. Very clean and comfortable cottage, friendly owners, quiet location (the road it's on is not very busy at all).

An excellent cottage which was very convenient for Settle and very easy to reach other places in the Dales. Very comfortable with everything we needed.

Wonderful stay in a very welcoming homely cottage. We couldn't have asked for more. There was milk in the fridge, cookies and a beautiful vase of red roses. Lots of information in a folder on local attractions. Everything was easy and instructions helpful. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend this sweet little place for an easy to access get away with lots of things to do locally.

In an excellent location, handy for Settle and Giggleswick while having parking immediately outside the front door. Had a good view of the Settle-Carlisle railway from the front too. It was very comfortable and homely with all the facilities you could expect. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A perfect base for six days of excellent walking in limestone country with plenty of fine cafes and pubs.

The cottage very homely and in a great location 5 minutes from town. The owners of the cottage were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of space and it was great accommodation where my dog was welcome. We could not wish for more.

Ecellent location for walking and visiting the Dales. Ecellent well loved cottage everything you would want for a stress free Holiday. The only downside was that the property was advertised as End Terrace with a Garden. In fact there is another cottage attached to the end, the garden is therefore accessed by going out of the front door along the road to second gate. However this is not a problem if you are aware of this before booking the property especially if you have a dog. Having said this it would not put me off booking this lovely cottage again. Thankyou very much to the owners who were very welcoming and helpfull.

Well equipped cosy cottage close to Watershed mill which serves very good value breakfasts (but not until 10 am so second breakfast really). Lovely views and great walks. Plenty of shops in easy walking distance.

Being able to park and unload the car directly outside the cottage was a big plus, as was being in a convenient but peaceful location. Cottage was spotlessly clean with great views from the windows. Friendly owners and welcome teabags, milk and biscuits provided. .

A lovely cosy cottage, with home from home atmosphere, comfortable and warm. Due to the cottage being excellent, it made the weather secondary. Perfectly situated. Owner very nice and welcoming.

We all loved staying in Settle! Some lovely countryside, lovely comfortable and homely cottage. The only mild thing was lack of washing machine/laundry facilities, we had some clothes that needed washing so was a little surprised there was not a washing machine! Anyway this aside I loved waking up to the country air and we felt relaxed throughout our stay. Thankyou for a lovely stay! We enjoyed Booth's supermarket and a range of restaurants we tried, the Indian was lovely and best fish and chips were served in the chippy on the main road!
