Brown Hill Cottage is a stone-built, end-terraced cottage, situated in the small village of Low Row in Swaledale, five miles from Reeth. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms - one double and one twin. There is a shower room with shower, basin and WC. On the ground floor the living accommodation contains a kitchen, dining room and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is free roadside parking on a first come, first served basis and a front, enclosed patio with furniture and BBQ. With the local inn just a short walk away and lovely scenic walking to be enjoyed from the doorstep, Brown Hill Cottage makes a great base for a break in the Yorkshire Dales. Note: Note: There are several stone steps up to the patio. Property not suitable for small children or anyone with mobility issues.

Cottage stairs lead up to two charming bedrooms and a contemporary shower room with the luxury of underfloor heating. Outside your Swaledale cottage, a patio with furniture provides an ideal spot to relax on a sunny afternoon. Warm and welcoming throughout, this Low Row cottage is just a short stroll from the local inn serving food whilst numerous public footpaths traverse the valley and give great walking opportunities from the doorstep. A few miles away is the popular village of Reeth with its huge central green, around which a variety of shops and pubs can be found, while a short drive from this Low Row cottage will bring you to the bustling market towns of Leyburn, Hawes and Richmond with numerous attractions such as Aysgarth Falls, Hardraw Force and Middleham's racehorse gallops. Brown Hill Cottage was a well equipped and very comfortable cottage, with thoughtful and tasteful decor. It's position is ideal for walking and very peaceful. The terrace was a delight to sit on in the late afternoon, early evening sun. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Brown Hill Cottage.

A really beautifully appointed cottage, with so many lovely, homely touches and stylish décor. Had excellent mattress and bedding, and an extraordinarily well equipped kitchen. It's definitely a place we'd be happy to return to and to recommend. It was spotlessly clean too.
This is a superior cottage finished to a very high standard. The quality of all the furnishings is superior to anywhere else I have stayed. It's been really thought out with a good lamp if you want to read or sew and lovely blankets if it does get cold, would recommend to anyone. The cottage is ideally situated for walking and there is a good pub just up the road that does great meals.
Location - Very Comfortable.
A beautiful cottage, very nicely kitted out and beautifully maintained. It was very welcoming and the wood supplied for the wood burning stove was plenty for the week. Having taken cottage holidays for around 7 years now, this was by far the best we've stayed in. The bathroom was particularly well-designed.
Brown Hill Cottage was really lovely the owner went to a lot of time and effort to make this really nice. It was really a country cottage when you looked out of the bedroom window and saw sheep,wandering about, and,also looking at you through the kitchen window.
Brown Hill Cottage very well equipped, with much care. It is a cosy place to stay. We were satisfied about the price / quality ratio.
Brown Hill fitted our needs and touring plans perfectly. It is well located to explore the Northern Dales and every room is delightful. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two days. The owner is a good person to deal with. We hope to stay here again.

It is a lovely, snug cottage right in the middle of the best of Swaledale and a perfect bolt hole away from the pressures of the work - a - day world. It is great to come back to the comfort of Brown Hill cottage after an active day out in the dale, and enjoy the high standard of fittings, equipment and furniture. We found the addition of Wi-Fi access to the internet an additional bonus this year, which meant we could keep in touch with on-going stuff back home as necessary.
