Just returned from yet another stay at Berrington's Barn, AND have two more stays already booked, which goes to show how much we rate and enjoy this property. It's spacious, even though it can easily cater for 4 people, it's just perfect for the two of us. The design, decor, linens, bedding and all other essentials are of top quality and the host, Glyn is great, so helpful, generous, caring and thoughtful. So it's no wonder we have two more weeks booked. There's lots of wild life (and a few beautiful, friendly young bulls in the neighbouring paddock), and the gardens are so incredibly well tended. It's so lovely to spend time out on the patio just watching the hares, numerous species of birds and squirrels. Very relaxing atmosphere. We'll just have to wait a few more months before we return!
From the moment we stepped into this barn it was like stepping into a home from home, these guys have done an amazing job renovating this barn the attention to detail is second to none from the cups to the pictures on the wall, every thing is of high standards and we’ve just got to say the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in some lovely hotels over the years but this one gets first prize for cleanliness and feeling like a home rather than just a holiday stay, it’s a great place for exploring from ie: Ironbridge, Coalport China museum , Chester is only 35 miles away too, give Apleys’s farm shop and creamery a go to lovely if you have children as they have donkeys there and a lovely tea room for the grown ups Our hosts Glyn & Tony left us milk homemade jams & marmalade’s and a lovely bowl of fresh fruit which I’m afraid we didn’t do justice to sorry guys. So thank you once again for a lovely week and we will certainly recommend you to all our family and friends, keep up the good work you’re doing great and lots of love to our alarm clock Philip the Pheasant lol
From the moment you arrive you know you are going to enjoy staying in Berringtons Barn. The tray of tea, scones, cake and jam (all home made) was wonderful and we left the unpacking to sit and relax and look at the beautiful garden and countryside through the huge window. The barn is spotlessly clean, well furnished and well equipped. The owners work hard to make your stay a great one and we cannot wait to return.
A warm welcome we received from the owners on our arrival, (lovely people) and the beautiful setting of the barn. Enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the garden and surrounding countryside. First class.
We liked the high quality of the property and the attentiveness of the owners to anything we needed.
