Reviews

We enjoyed our stay here, it had everything we needed including the views of the hills from the back of the property, we were met by two horse's on our arrival in the field behind and was met by the owner who shown us briefly were the rooms are. There's a mini EE WI-FI you can charge up and this was very useful, plenty of hot water especially with the shower being powerful with a good sized bathroom, bedroom has a double bed and was very comfortable with plenty of space in the wardrobe along with hangers, we used the kitchenette lights at night this was ideal for us. The owner left us a packet of biscuits, teabags and dog treats thank you but we had to leave the doggie treats as our dog passed away after booking the cottage, but she would of enjoyed them. Good walks each day from the doorstep or you could drive out to have day trips, you park at the end of the driveway and it is gated. The cottage is in a remote area and ideal for walking dogs, the garden wall is low around 2ft, the garden has a bistro style table and chairs on a patio ground with a small grassed area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break and the property came up to the usual standard we expect of Sykes! The views from the rear of the property were outstanding and the accompanying welcome from Mac the dalmatian and the two horses were enjoyed, the owner was very gracious and helpful.
