Park View, Filey

We arrived in sunshine checked into our bungalow by self checkin. The accommodation is exceptional spotlessly clean well equipped kitchen. Fantastic walks for doggy people beach close by allowing dogs . Friendly people in Filey nothing to much for them. Will be revisiting next year it was my husbands 70th while we were there we had an Italian meal at he restaurant in Filey they did a special birthday treat for him and everyone sang happy birthday it was a great evening and food was very good value.

My second visit to the brilliant Park View in only a few short months and I enjoyed my stay just as much as last time and all the other times I've stayed there previously. Only a very short walk to Filey Brigg and Filey town centre and just a short drive to Scarborough, Whitby, Flamborough and a number of other great East Coast holiday destinations.

We arrived at the cottage only to be almost wiped out by someone in a 4x4 driving on the wrong side of the road. The cottage is in a wonderful position, perfect for the beach and the country park, the caravan site offers a brilliant selection of breakfast baps and/or a full English breakfast, coffee and tea is always piping hot. Unfortunately the cottage is over stuffed with too much furniture, mixed matched cutlery and crockery and locked doors this needs to be sorted, it’s like a car boot sale gone wrong, a horders dream. Now just for a laugh the same person who almost wiped us out is cutting his grass at 20:45. It’s a great cottage perfect position just needs sorting out, remove at least 1/3 of the furniture. The next question is would I recommend it. ?? Yes with modifications

Park View is a lovely little bungalow set in a quiet residential area closely situated for everything Filey and its surrounding areas have to offer. It has a real home from home feel about the place and the front and rear gardens are maintained to a high standard. The choice of games, books and computer games for all ages is amazing and the added free wifi is a bonus. Kitchen is well equipped and lounge, bathroom and 3bedrooms are all of decent sizes.

This is a clean, well furnished cottage in an excellent location for beach and town. A peaceful place to stay. We loved it there.

Park View is situated in an excellent position, in a quiet area of Filey and overlooking the country park. It was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The lounge is absolutely gorgeous and a lovely room for all the family to relax with an excellent view.

A really excellent property, everything we could have wished for and so much more. Park View was so comfortable and welcoming it made our visit to Yorkshire an even better one. It had TVs in every room and a large screen TV in the main room which you rarely find in holiday homes.

Very clean and comfortable, everything you would need for a perfect holiday, will recommend to friends. An ideal location, 5mins walk to the shops and beach. The enclosed gardens were brilliant for dog owners, definitely go again.

Very clean property in a lovely area, near country park and town. Many lovely places to go such as the North York Moors. Had a lovely meal at the tea rooms at Scalby and journey back through Danby forest. Hope to come back.

A very comfortable bungalow and a dog-friendly, enclosed rear garden. There is a high standard of furniture and we would recommend to others and return ourselves.

Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, in a lovely area. Situated in a place where everything was near by. A really lovely holiday. We will be returning.

Sykes staff so friendly and helpful on booking. The bungalow was so cosy and warm with lovely luxurious leather sofas and large flat screen TV. The bathroom was lovely and clean and modern and the enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. The beach was only ten minutes walk away and the country park even nearer. The fact that our dog was welcome was greatly appreciated. We have booked this property again for 2015.

Its a good place to bring a dog & just chill out for a week. Its near to country park,beach & town.

Park View was really cosy. There was a lovely modern bathroom, fabulous comfortable leather sofas and a large TV in the living room. The garden was nice and private too. The bungalow is on a really quiet estate which is within walking distance of the country park and beach. Best of all our dog was welcome. We will definitely stay there again.
