A lovely well maintained and equipped cottage with fantastic views. We were delighted with this cottage and it's facilities and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Skye

My friend and I stayed in Tigh-Na-Creag in May 2016 for 1 week. We chose this place as it was quite central between Broadford and Portree and we wanted to explore the Isle of Skye. We arrived to the property and had a visit from the owner who was very pleasant and told us a few things about the property and the area. The house had everything we could need and the kitchen was very well equipped for self catering. The only one thing I would suggest updating would be the sofa/chairs in the living room as they are a little dated and could be more comfortable especially after a long day out and about. Also to make the second bedroom more usable for couples there could be a zip and link/twin bed option. Overall though it was a fab place to stay and had a lovely view out of the picture window in the living room. Highly recommended and I would book again.

This property was excellent. We had a very enjoyable stay and we're made to feel very welcome. We would definitely book this cottage for our next visit to Skye.

We had a lovely time in this cottage. We enjoyed the view out of the great widow in the living room. There was also not much noise from street nearby so we could sleep very well. From the cottage you could go to any point of the island quickly. If we come back to Skye, we will stay again there.

Tigh na Creag was a fantastic base for our holiday exploring the Isle of Skye as it was very centrally located, about halfway between Broadford and Portree. The Cottage was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for the week we stayed. The owner is very friendly and visited to check that we had everything we needed and to reassure us that if we needed anything we just had to call them, which was really lovely. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the Island and have a great central base.

This was one of the best spots we have ever stayed on holiday. I can surely recommend it to other guests. Enjoyed the dolphins, the view and the Isle of Skye.

The location was superb, ideally suited for a day out in the hills. The cottage is warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and approachable should we have any problems - which we didn't! We have stayed before and are thoroughly looking forward to our next visit in 2017.

Lovely cottage, in a perfect location for touring and site seeing the whole Isle of Skye. I could not have booked a better location and cottage. I would recommend this cottage as one of the best there is.

The location of the cottage - looking out over water and hills was exactly what I was looking for to unwind. The property owner was very attentive yet unobtrusive. Skye scenery is amazing and the people on the island were friendly and kind to a solo traveller. The cottage had everything I needed and was very comfortable. I want to go again and would return to the same cottage.

The owner was very helpful and the cottage was warm, cosy and centrally positioned for touring Skye.

Great location, great view, very spacious, clean, modern interior. Very nice hosts. The living furniture could stand updating but that is the only negative thing to say about the place. We would definitely choose this spot again .

The cottage was clean and tidy, well appointed and warm. It's ideally suited for exploring the Isle Of Skye, and we particularly liked the view over Loch Sligachan from the living room window. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We have stayed in several cottages throughout Skye over the years and this is by far the best one yet, by a fair margin. It was a real treat to see Golden Eagles flying over the Loch.

Very well maintained and designed cottage. The perfect location as a base to visit the entire island and surrounding areas.

A great base to discover the beauty of Skye, the holiday home had everything needed to make this a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Would certainly come back to this house.

Tigh na Craeg was central on Skye, not too far from all the places we wanted to see north or south. Nice house to come back to to relax we had a great time

This was the perfect cottage in a delightful setting. I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. We had everything that we could have needed and more. Many thanks to the owners for their part in making our week memorable.

The bungalow is recently built by the owner who lives nearby. It is furnished to a high standard and is ideally placed to explore the whole island. The owners were welcoming and were prepared to do anything to make our stay enjoyable. In terms of the accommodation, it is difficult to fault with a bathroom and very large shower room, two pleasant bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Something we wish more self-catering places would do is provide a fridge/freezer as provided here.

Perfectly positioned for visiting any part of the Isle of Skye. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and the cottage was ideal. Inside was more spacious than we expected. The open plan living/dining/kitchen space was great for socialising. The cottage appears to be have been built fairly recently with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The views from the living room are amazing - across the water to the mountains. The only negatives for us were the lack of garden (although the scenery makes up for this) and the main bathroom not having a shower so we all had to share the one in the en-suite. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Wonderful place, well appointed, a warm welcome from the owner. Ideally located to explore the island. Particularly fine view, from the picture window in the living room, of the loch and mountain.

Everything was top notch as the cottage is a new build and designer perfect.

We enjoyed our holiday on Skye which was helped by very good weather as this allowed us to spend our days out and about. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and so well equipped. It was a great pleasure to know we had such a lovely, comfortable place to come back to each evening. It was lovely to look out over Loch Sligachan.
