We have just spent a really wonderful week at Hope Hall Barn. We absolutely loved it. The barn is lovely, clean, extremely well equipped and very comfortable and Anna and her son Sam were lovely, hepfull but not intrusive at all. There is a log burner and lots of logs supplied but it was a very hot week and we didnt need them. The barn is very quiet and rural which we loved. It is only a ten minute walk down the lane from a fabulous pub called The Stables which has a secure beer garden if you have children or dogs. The food was absolutely delicious and would highly re commend it. The barn has a brilliant, very large and fully secure garden which our dog made the most of, ot was fantastic. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Set in a lovely location with great views. We arrived to a friendly welcome from the owner and homemade lemon drizzle cake. The cottage was so well equipped including towels for the dog! The wood burner meant that the cottage soon warmed up and was lovely and cosy. The barn and farm are up a unmade drive and it is a 10 minute walk to the local pub. This had a very good menu despite being a small pub which was impressive. Also good beer. There are numerous walks nearby. We did a good round walk which also involved a stop at the pub in Stiperstones- again another good pub with good beer and food. Our stay was in the winter. Would be lovely to visit again and sit outside. Children would love running around the garden- as would dogs in the enclosed area around the barn.

We booked this cottage mainly to take our dog away from our local fireworks display. We did hear fireworks when we was outside but fortunately our dog didn't hear a thing inside. So mission completed. Enclosed garden to the rear which was great for our dog max. Now to the cottage itself there was everything you needed, loved the cake and fresh eggs, left by the owners (Thank you) very clean, spacious and absolutely beautiful remote location, but places close enough to visit if needed. We had a lovely relaxing weekend, and we will definitely be visiting again

Hope Hall was a lovely barn conversion in a beautiful location. The barn was very clean and comfortable and the garden was amazing; our dogs had a wonderful time. The views from the property were stunning and there were lots of interesting places to visit nearby. We had a fabulous time and would return.

This cottage was in a very peaceful and beautiful location and it was ideal for a walking holiday. The cottage was very good for dogs with a large enclosed garden. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. The log fire in the lounge was much appreciated in the chilly May evenings.

Rated by Mr Williams reviewed on 28th May 2016

The cottage was the most well equipped we have ever stayed at, it was extremely clean and airy. The enclosed garden was ideal for the dogs. There were the usual leaflets available for attractions in the area, but the provision of local OS maps was a well thought through idea. The location is ideal for getting to the majority of places and the views were beautiful.

We recently stayed here with our two puppies, who by the way enjoyed themselves so much they didn't want to come home! It is in such a good location, but also out of the way so you aren't in the city/town. Good/big enclosed garden for the dogs. Log burner which is amazing & a really big sized house/barn. The only negative we would have is the bedding felt like 'crisp packets' it was really noisy every time you turned over. But other than that, it was a lovely stay! We will be going back.

An excellent property, would stay again. The owners went the extra mile.

Rated by Mr Cardall reviewed on 7th March 2016

The cottage catered exceedingly well for the four of us with good quality crockery, cutlery, pans, bedding and much more. The beds were also extremely comfortable and it was very convenient to have a washbasin in each bedroom. We loved the size the rooms - the utility room was a great size and perfect to leave our wet coats and muddy boots!

Hope Hall barn is a great find. we stayed for a week together with our dog and enjoyed it immensely. the cottage is at the end of a farm drive well off the road. the views are stunning and the cottage is convenient for local shops and is only 20 minutes from Shrewsbury, 40 minutes from Ludlow. the local pub is within walking distance and offers real ale and good food. when we arrived the cottage was spotless and very welcoming. heated by storage heaters or alternatively a logburner, the whole place is very warm. logs are provided for the logburner. the owner lives in an adjacent property and is very friendly. nothing is too much trouble. we can recommend this cottage... we will definately return

The garden of the property was excellent and the fact that it was enclosed was perfect for our two dogs.

I would definitely recommend Hope Hall Barn to anyone who is looking for relaxing few days in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. You get to the barn by driving up a track into the hills - you really feel like you're getting away from it all. There are shops within a 10 minutes drive and lots of day trips within easy access. The barn is clean and cosy (but has ample space), has a lovely private garden, all the mod cons you'd need, and a wood burner for relaxing in the evening. The owner is really friendly and accommodating. My wife and I stayed there with our 21 month old daughter - it's definitely suitable for a toddler. There's easily enough space for more people. We had a great 3 days and didn't want to leave!

Very well equipped cottage with very comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Views were outstanding of the Stiperstones and surrounding hills from this highly positioned property. Lovely walks around and from the converted barn. Very helpful owners live opposite if you need help or to know anything.

The cottage was set in beautiful countryside with lovely views. The owner was very welcoming without being intrusive. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and the dog was welcome. Really good value for money.

Rated by Mr Matthews reviewed on 28th March 2015

Hope Hall Barn is a beautifully appointed property. The owner has decorated and furnished it to the highest standard and much thought has gone into equipping it with everything needed for a lovely relaxing break. The large garden was completely enclosed and escape proof for your dog, and the Barn is surrounded by fields and woods in which to walk straight from the door. The beds were comfy, the log fire welcoming after a cold day out, and all in all a fabulous place to stay. We have stayed in cottages all over the country and can truthfully say this is the BEST we have ever been in. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants a relaxing, ultra-comfortable holiday in beautiful countryside.

Rated by Mrs Norton reviewed on 21st March 2015

The location of the cottage was perfect, with excellent views of Stiperstones and in easy walking distance from a good pub. The cottage was incredibly well equipped, there was nothing that hadn't been thought of. The general comfort and decoration of the cottage was great. The owners were friendly without being obtrusive and the arrangements for getting there and getting in were straight forward. Nothing could have been improved on.

A lovely cottage in a stunning location. Immaculately presented, comfortable, and well equipped. We particularly loved the wood burning stove and the Rayburn which kept the cottage beautifully warm. The garden was perfect for our very energetic dog and is spacious enough to throw a ball for her to chase.

It felt like a cosy cottage but somehow was also very spacious! Beautiful views, lovely log-burner and charming host, everything was easy!

Rated by Mrs Hetherington reviewed on 6th January 2015

We stayed here with friends for New Year and had a great few days. The cottage felt really cosy, with a lovely and effective wood burner (wood supplied), yet was somehow really spacious too, we didn't feel we were on top of each other! Well appointed and kitchen very well equipped. A huge boot room was ideal for coats and boots after some wet walks in the beautiful local area, including the Stiperstones, as well as keeping the wine cool! The owners live opposite and were both charming and helpful.
