Close to the beautiful Black Rock Sands beach this amazing Holiday let offers everything you could wish for to make a perfect Holiday. Every comfort has been thought of. A fully equipped kitchen, home from home and a conservatory with vast windows to enjoy the exquisite Welsh countryside. The weather is immaterial. We have loved staying here and will be back!

We particularly liked the location for exploring the area and the quietness of the rural area. There were all mod cons for washing & drying clothes with good outdoor space, easy central heating control and constant hot water & log burner.

This is a very nice, smart, well equipped and comfortable cottage. It is in a good location and has a lovely garden and furnishing to enjoy. It was useful to have the added games room. The use of the washing machine was great particularly following the return home in wet, muddy clothes!

This was our second stay in this cottage and again we loved the simple design and cosy feel. The log fire is great for the evenings, and the garden gets the evening sun which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine etc. Good location for southern Snowdonia and the Lleyn peninsula. Overall one of the best cottages we have stayed in hence our return visit.

I stayed in this cottage with my cousin for a week in December. We were prepared for all sorts of weather at this time of year but unfortunately we hit the edge of storm Desmond, so - called, so it rained and blew most days. However the cottage was very comfortable and wonderfully insulated so we were never cold. It is a beautiful spot, in the heart of countryside surrounded by sheep and with a glorious beach just down the road. Not far from the mountains of Snowdonia and the stunning coastline of North Wales, with endless castles. If it ever stops raining up there it is the perfect spot. The cottage is very well converted and laid out, with a slightly perilous spiral staircase leading up to the bedrooms and bathroom. Wood burning stove, dog friendly, well appointed kitchen (though we couldn't quite figure out the washing machine). Games room next door (we didn't use it. Nor did we use the deck space, which would be lovely in the summer). And the owner was very kind and understanding when the weather interrupted our departure plans. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back at a kinder time of year.

Lovely cottage in the Welsh countryside. Immaculately clean and spacious. Large patio area with barbeque. Nice and warm (which was great as our weather was rotten!). Very quiet. Short drive to Porthmadog, Cricceth and Abersoch.

Probably one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. In a very good location, near to the beach and to Snowdon. The rear, private garden with decking was great.

The location was lovely with near access to the wonderful sandy beach which was ideal for walking the dog, she came back not muddy or dirty which was a bonus for this time of year. Amazing views and access easily to shops, pubs and sightseeing. Lots of walks and cycling.

From the moment we parked the car we loves the place. Absolutely lovely and very helpful owners who could not do enough for us. Great location with 15mins walk to beautiful beach and 5 mins to some woods so ideal for our Dog Kids loved the games room when pool table, table football and board games. Along with lots of DVDS and CDs to keep entertained. Accomodation was lovely and the log fire was used ever day. Great view from the garden and we will be booking again. Recommended to all our friends

The location and setting are fantastic. The property is delightful and the owners are so friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We used the cottage as a base for a wedding in Portmerion but ended up discovering some great places in the area during the week we were there. We loved it - a real gem!

Easy to book with Sykes cottages and property is a new converted farmhouse so all fittings equipment was excellent. Lovely quiet location but close to sea and mountains of North Wales. Having been going to N Wales for years and this is one of the best cottages we have stayed in - we will probably go back to the same cottage again which I rarely do so I guess that says it all.

Idyllic location, and a very well presented property near to beach and all amenities of Porthmadog, and ideal for exploring Snowdonia.

Great location. The property was very well appointed, decorated, etc. The double room had a really comfortable bed which is not always on offer but is important. Overall, the owners have definitely thought about all aspects of comfort for their guests, and have executed their plans accordingly. We were delighted with their attention to detail.
