Lottie's Loft, Grassington

Just spent weekend at lotties loft cant praise it enough already booked for next year . In centre of village this beautiful apartment is immaculate fully stocked with everything you need . Owner should be very proud

This flat was amazing we had a fabulous time, it was our honeymoon but it was unexpectadly cut short due to a burglary at our house. we contacted the company and they were very helpful. we will definately book to go again or if not the blacksmith cottage below. pet friendly too.

This is a well-appointed and tastefully decorated property, but a bit cluttered for my liking. It is located next to a fish and chip shop, which fortunately is only open for brief periods each day (and not late at night). Parking is problematic. The village square is nearby, but you are only supposed to park there for maximum 2 hours during the day. We left our car in the Yorkshire Dales National Park car park in Hebden Road , about 1/4 mile away - £15 for the whole week. The kitchen is in the bedroom/living area, with separate small box-room to store clothes. Bathroom is bright and modern with over-the-bath shower. Nice-sized fridge but no freezer compartment, so again a bit of an issue if you buy food for the week and want to self-cater, as the nearest shop is a Spar. The flat is in a great spot for walking from and the surrounding countryside is stunning (there are no views from the flat).

Lottie's Loft is a beautiful accommodation. We particularly liked the setting, the walks from the house and the relaxation!

Lottie's Loft is a beautiful place to stay, so central which is nice. We had such a fantastic time, we were so comfortable in Lotties Loft so it really felt like home.

Read the reviews and based my booking on what I read. When we arrived Lottie's Loft was better than we imagined. It was clean, cosy and kitted out well for our stay. Loved the decor, comfortable bed and the vaulted roof space with Velux windows added to the beautiful character of the accommodation. I would not hesitate to book here again as we loved our stay here and had a wonderful time exploring the Dales. Grassington is a really lovely village, horrible to be back home!

The cottage was really well located just off the village square, it was comfortable and well laid out with all the facilities we needed for the week.

We loved Lottie's Loft. The décor was very pretty and it was so well equipped. The location is ideal for walking and there are some lovely pubs within walking distance. The area was really friendly as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A well furnished and equipped property located near the centre of the village that accepted pets. Ideal for walking the Yorkshire Dales.

We have stayed around the Grassington area for several years and this was our first attempt at self catering. We have a dog and it was quite satisfying to find a property so well appointed that we could still take our dog along. The property could not be situated in a better spot. If you consider the parking in the town we had only a short walk to drop off and collect our baggage. The property itself was a real bonus and we all loved it. The owners who we contacted to arrange keys etc, were brilliant. We shall return!

This must have been the most neat, clean and hygienic place we have ever been. There was a very nice welcome gift from the owners. The location was ideal, right in the centre of Grassington. This was an ideal to start the long walks in the fascinating Dales and come back for a good meal in one of the warm and cosy pubs or restaurants. It was extremely dog friendly too! We really had one of our best vacations here.

Absolutely lovely, it had everything we needed and more and was conveniently situated in the middle of the village. the only problem was, unknown to me I had booked the accommodation when grassington festival was on. because of this we couldn't drive up to the door to unload as stated in the literature and had to find a back way into the village and then do several trips to unload. this was difficult due to our ages and disabilities. the festival is on at the same time every year and I feel that we should have been told so that we could arrive before the road was closed off or else arrive later in the day when it reopened. there was a very unhelpfull " jobsworth " character manning the road closed barrier who actually told us we couldn't get to the cottage that day !! not a good start to our holiday, however someone else told us about the back way into the village and we took things from there

We loved Lottie's Loft, it was perfectly situated in the middle of the village and had everything that we required. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had lovely weather for most of our stay and Grassington was perfect for reaching other parts of the Dales.

We went to chill out for a few days and we did that, very enjoyable!

Lottie's Loft was a delight - very comfortable, cosy and well-equipped. The apartment was warm and beautifully decorated to a high standard. The kitchen is small, but very well equipped. The bed is super king-size and very comfortable. The apartment is quiet and yet in the very centre of the village, 1 minutes walk to pubs and shops. I would definitely recommend a stay in Grassington at Lottie's Loft.

Lottie's Loft was gorgeous, cosy, comfortable and very conveniently situated in the village. We enjoyed lots of lovely walks around Grassington and the surrounding countryside. The local pubs and cafe's served excellent food. We would love to return to Lottie's Loft for another holiday in the future.

The apartment was cosy and well furnished. The bed was really comfortable. Everything we needed was there and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making it a perfect stay. We found the accommodation ideal for our needs, and would highly recommended to others. The owner was really helpful too.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The road is narrow being the width of a single car and one pedestrian. Having said that unloading and loading wasn't a problem. We managed to park in front of the town hall everyday except the Friday but this was the start of Grassington festival and parking was available at the back of the town hall and the farm above. Although WIFI was available in all the pubs nearby, and nearby is as close as few yards down the road, it would have been a lot more convenient to have had it on the premises. Our need for WIFi was to plan trips and gain history and upload photos. We were more than happy not to be on the receiving end of emails. Please don't let any of these comments put you off because it is a great place to stay!

The weather was absolutely superb, it could not have been better! We thought Lottie's Loft was ideal. We loved Grassington, as did our dog too, and the central location of the property was ideal. It was lovely to stay in a genuinely old property, with such wonderfully thick walls, and character, and yet to have such warmth and modern comfort.

We have stayed many times in Grassington, but this was our first time in Lottie's Loft. It won't be our last. The studio is well appointed, scrupuilously clean and nicely decorated and furnished and in keeping with the character of the area. Both the large double bed and the settee are very comfortable and the whole studio is surprisingly spacious. The location can't be faulted, adjacent to the small church yard and literally seconds from the village square. Ideal for a romantic getaway to the Dales.

The cottage was packed with charm, well equipped and exceptionally clean. We look forward to returning next year!

Great place to stay, felt like home but with the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep. Really cosy and clean. Would we return? Absolutely!

It was our first visit to Grassington and it was very enjoyable, this coupled with the fact that I celebrated my 50th birthday while at Lottie's Loft made the experience even more enjoyable and will be a memory I cherish. The central location of Lottie's Loft was very good.

Lottie's was everything and more than we needed for our Christmas break in the Dales. From the moment we entered the property we knew it was just what we wanted, the owners had made a proper effort, with Christmas gifts for both of us and a small but lovely Christmas tree trimmed up to give the apartment that festive feel. It is ideally located right in the centre of Grassington, close to all the amenities and hostelrys. It was very well equipped and in pristine condition. The owners very kindly advised us where to park our car as parking is of a premium in Grassington. Say what you liked best or least, this is easy as the cottage was very good, unfortunately Sykes nor the owners can do anything about the weather which was rubbish!

The accommodation was first class, centrally located making it easy to get out and about. The apartment was cosy, warm and welcoming. The owners made us feel at home by providing some Christmas presents on our arrival, a nice touch.

A fantastic cottage! Lottie's Loft was the perfect haven from which to enjoy Grassington. I would recommend it unreservedly and we shall definitely be returning!

I adored Lottie's loft - it was such a delightful cosy retreat. The furnishings and decor were perfect and in keeping with the style of the property. It was also comfortable and well equipped. The location was ideal too - centrally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Grassington.

The cottage was nice and central to the shops, you could pop out for items easily. The cottage had a cared for and cosy atmosphere. It was very comfortable.

The apartment studio was ideal for 2 people. Very comfortable and clean with all amenities. It made a lovely retreat from city life and the village of Grassington was so tranquil. The local people were most friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Have been telling family and friends about our holiday especially the accommodation.

The apartment was very homely with tasteful decor / furnishings. The kitchen and bathroom were modern, well equipped and clean. It was a pleasure to return to after a day out. The location is excellent being in the centre of the village and also convenient for touring the Yorkshire Dales. Although there is no parking at the property it was easy enough to park free within the village.

We love Grassington. The people are so friendly and dog friendly. Had some great food in the local pubs and restaurants. Lotties Loft is comfortable and homely.

The loft is very welcoming we have been twice before. It is cosy and very well kept and presented. Obviously the owners take great care to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The weather was wonderful, so was able to go for lots of walks. Perfect location for things to see and do.

The cottage and village were both perfect for our stay. The village was close to areas we wanted to visit (including the Lake District, York, and Peak District) and the cottage was the perfect size and comfort for us. Visiting from the USA, we were particularly charmed by the village!

The location was central enabling us to walk out for meals without having to drive. We were very comfortable in the Loft and excellent eating at Grassington Lodge.

Everything we wanted! Studio very comfy and clean. Meals in both pubs excellent, (The Black Horse & Forrestors Arms).

The cottage is a lovely romantic retreat and really well located for local walks. "5 The Square" restaurant nearby is fantastic.

Grassington is delightful with every amenity you could possibly want. Perfectly placed for exploring the Dales and very dog-friendly.

The flat was warm and welcoming. We had a good idea of it's location having visited Grassington some time before. The village itself was quiet because of the time of year but it is not far from towns and tourist attractions for it to be an ideal base and a place of peace and quiet to return to. The flat had all the amenities necessary. The equipment in the flat made the stay very comfortable. We were not too sure about the rugs as they moved when trying to stand up. The bed was heavenly. We had friends visit us on two occasions but it was difficult to find enough seating without someone sitting at the table on a hard chair.

The location was excellent. The facilities and accessories in the flat couldn't have been better.

A well designed, cosy and well equipped place. They had thought of everything. An excellent base for a short winter break, great walking, great Christmas shopping and great places to eat out, all close by. Hope to go back and do the same walks in the spring or the summer.

Took advantage of short break while our son in Geneva. Had a great time. Accommodation of a very high standard and very cosy. No issues with parking as found space in square each evening. Village delightful. Pubs all welcoming but food only average. Whereas mushy peas at the chippy took me back to my childhood. Would visit again.

Lottie's Loft was beautifully decorated, homely and warm with loads of character & charm. It was spacious enough to keep it cosy and romantic. The whole place was immaculately clean and very well kept, definitely 4/5 star accommodation. It was in a perfect position, literally a couple of minutes away from the shops and local pubs and Grassington itself is a lovely quiet and peaceful, but friendly village.

The location was excellent for everything, walks, buses, shops, internet cafe, library. The decor was excellent, extremely pretty and good quality. Thoughtful arrangement of furniture for a bijou and compact apartment. It was quiet and just what we needed as a comfortable base, large and comfortable bed, nice lighting and window dressing.
