Reviews

Beautiful countryside all around the area. Will go back again. The owner was very friendly and we knew she would help if needed.

Brew Cottage was the highlight of our visit to Kent. In a great location for day trips it was perfect for our requirements and, having booked self catering cottages around the country in the past, Brew Cottage is by far and away the best. From the photos on line we anticipated it being much smaller than it is so please don't think its too small! There plenty of room for a family. The garden and surrounds provide a lot of pleasure also. The Gate pub nearby provides excellent hospitality and service with a great menu that we exhausted. We will be recommending to friends.

A beautiful cottage, with very helpful and friendly owners. I would recommend this property to anyone. The location was excellent and all in all it provided a wonderful holiday break with our two greyhounds who enjoyed the many walks near by.

The peace and quiet and seclusion of the property was just what we were looking for. We found the owners to have an excellent disposition. Brew Cottage was situated within a good, central location.

The cottage was faultless, clean, comfortable and quiet. The owners were really friendly and helpful and I knew that they were there should I need them, but they left me alone to my solitude. The countryside and walking straight from the cottage were perfect. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wanted a retreat. I would also recommend it to people who need a bit more as it is a very easy drive to the surrounding towns and Canterbury.

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting within easy reach of many towns and villages. The city of Canterbury is only 6 miles away which is definitely worth a visit.

Rated by Mr Andrews reviewed on 4th May 2014

This holiday rental is a great place - a real home from home - comfortable and well equipped. It has olde worlde charm with lots of lovely beams and exposed brick walls. The beautiful inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove was also a lovely feature. The outside space is large and overlooks beautiful apple orchards. It is ideally situated to visit all the attractions of east kent including Canterbury, Whitstable and Sandwich which are within easy reach. We would definitely rent this accommodation again and recommend it to others.

The owners were kind and helpful to us and very welcoming to our little dog. The cottage was homely and comfortable and although this is not the usual time of year for a holiday we did enjoy ourselves. We chose this area because we would like to move there. The cottage was warm and a steady supply of logs were available. Also the heating went on three times a day, but you were able to change the temperature or the timing easily.

It was clear that the owners of the cottage had gone out of their way to make everything as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Not only did Brew Cottage have all of the expected charm and character, it was also as well stocked, warm and comfortable as could be. An absolute gem of a place, that I am sure we would all love to return to as soon as we can.

Lovely cottage in a pretty setting. Great owners lived nearby. Would like to return. The cottage is in a good position for seeing Kent, we travelled around from the Isle of Sheppey right down to Dungeness.

Rated by Mrs Jones reviewed on 21st October 2013

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The cottage was lovely with real character and there was lots of space (the lounge and main bedroom are both very large and the garden and grounds are too - ideal for a dog).
