We’ve just returned from a week at the Lambing Shed. We found the property to be extremely well equipped, with many small details considered. The log fire burned well and added warmth and that cosy feel to our evenings. The property was secure for our two dogs, with lovely walks right outside the gate. At night we enjoyed the sounds of owls in nearby trees. A tranquil environment that we’d highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived we could not fault the property. The Welsh cakes to the surrounding views and the peacefulness and quiet space we where looking for. We met the owners who advised us on a fantastic walk which allowed us to see some of the best views we might have missed. Without doubt a fantastic owners and dogs weekend without the stress and hassle. Thank you .

The lambing shed is all you could wish for and more Other than the birds and occasional snort from the horses in the field opposite and bleet from the sheep in the field behind the patio, oh and the post van once a day, that's it for noise.....bliss.. Not only is the accommodation spotlessly clean it is set out beautifully with everything you need inluding hairdryer, iron, ironing board and fully stocked kitchen. There are lots of DVD's, games and crayons etc in the property I can find it difficult sleeping in strange beds on strange pillows, not here...we all slept like babies There are numerous beaches and attractions a short car drive away, or you can travel further afield and do as much or as little as you like The only problem is the Wi Fi, which we were unable to connect to, but it was not a big deal. We will deffinately return We loved our time there and would deffinatley return

The Lambing Shed Had a lovely family holiday with my Wife and 2 children at the lambing shed. On arrival the lambing shed was immaculate inside and outside with lots of bits and bobs to make it a home away from home. The lambing shed is in a rural and quiet location perfect place to relax and enjoy family time. There are many places to visit a short drive away and plenty of info on activities and places to visit in the information books located in the property. The children really enjoyed the week at the lambing shed and we wouldn’t hesitate to return for another visit. We meet the owner Andrea who was nice and helpful and had emailed before arrival with directions and contact details if we got stuck. This was a very nice touch and helped put me at ease. In summary a great cottage away from the rat race of life a perfect place to unwind with the family. The Ravenscroft family

After a crazy year we booked the Lambing shed to spend Christmas near family and to unwind. We went with our two young children. The cottage is stunning. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We were especially pleased to find that lights and a Christmas tree had been put up. It was a perfect Christmas and we very much hope to go back :)

Stayed in the cottage for our wedding anniversary in September. The Lambing Shed is immaculately clean with everything you want for your stay including numerous leaflets with information and things to do. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. What a lovely secluded accommodation. Plenty to do whether walking, visiting gardens and houses or the beach. We are extremely picky about where we stay and this ticks all the boxes.

A wonderful homely place with the luxury of a beautiful setting.

Wow what a wonderful find this cottage is, and great for the dog too! One of the cleanest and best equipped we've ever had the pleasure to stay in (& we've stayed in a lot over the years), every detail has been so well thought out...hooks on backs of doors, sockets really well positioned, plenty of cutlery & crockery, washing line, airer & pegs, hand soap & loo roll provided, & so many other things that seem to be forgotten about in many cottages. It is really well laid out & very good for those with limited mobility with the lounge, kitchen, double bedroom and main bathroom all on one level, then just 3 steps up to the twin room, second loo and utility area. The woodburner is brilliant on a chilly evening too. We had a great week here & even the weather was mostly kind to us. It's a really good base for visiting all the lovely places on the North Wales coast as well as over to Chester. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to return if staying in the area again. Thank you for contributing to a fantastic holiday.

The cottage was of a very high standard and every detail carefully thought through by the owners. The cottage was very comfortable and had all the things we needed. The area the cottage was situated in was beautiful with walks from the front door. It was also close by other lovely parts of Wales. We had an excellent stay.

Been here 4 nights and checking out tomorrow, definitely could stay longer. It's been a lovely break, it really is so homely with a very modern twist. Views are absolutely stunning, I am sure we will be back in the New Year. We will be sad to leave but will yltake lots of lovely memories of this stay.

Everything - the location and the cottage was wonderful. The photos on the web site (although good) do not do it justice. The cottage had everything that was required and more. Lots of walks right outside the door (great for the dog). Would love to go back sometime in the future to this gem of a cottage.

We had a wonderful holiday at The Lambing Shed. The accommodation was excellent and had everything we could possibly need. The location was so peaceful and relaxing and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. It was very dog friendly and there were lots of walks right on the doorstep. This was our second year at this property and we hope to return again next year.

With the property being so secluded we enjoyed the chance to do nothing except walk our dog, sit, eat, drink and relax.

This is a great cottage to stay in, we would highly recommend it. It was nicely decorated, warm, clean, well equipped and in the Welsh countryside. It was ideal for us as a family and we had a great week. The owners were very friendly when we spoke to them and just let us get on with our holiday the rest if the time.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the quiet location, you can walk from the door, but it is handy driving distance to local amenities. Lovely furniture and all mod cons. Will stay again.

We chose this accommodation because it accepted pets, and it was close to Prestatyn and the lovely North Wales coast and country walks. We were not disappointed. The lambing shed is well kitted out with everything you could/ would need and lots more besides. The walks on the door step are fantastic...and you are only a little drive to a number of beautiful beaches...castles etc

Lovely house, furnished to a high standard.

Rated by Mrs Jones reviewed on 26th October 2014

The quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations. The peaceful, secluded location with its large, well-furnished patio and adjoining meadow provided enjoyment in itself whenever we took a rest from the sometimes hectic exploration and sightseeing of the beautiful and exciting N.Wales coast and countryside. All that and the unseasonal hot weather all helped to make it the perfect, balanced holiday experience.

The cottage was furnished to a very high standard and was very comfortable. The owners were extremely helpful.

Rated by Mrs Farrell reviewed on 6th September 2014

We loved our stay at The Lambing Shed. The cottage was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The owners provided everything we needed plus more and even left Welsh cakes, milk and meadow flowers for us on our arrival. It was a lovely location to use as a base to visit North Wales. The weather wasn't on our side so we did spend a little more time in the cottage than we normally would have, but it was so nice we didn't mind. There are some beautiful local walks, which my husband and I, our daughter and dog loved. There is nothing bad I can say about this cottage. It is a bit tucked out of the way, but we saw that as a bonus as we felt like we really got away from things. The only downside is if it becomes so popular we may struggle to re-book. I would definitely return.

This cottage was set in beautiful, relaxing surroundings with nothing but the sound of the birds to be heard. Inside the cottage it was immaculate and beautifully decorated .

The Lambing Shed was a really gorgeous cottage. The building itself was outstanding and the décor and furnishings were perfect. The location was beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing and the owners were very friendly and had provided us with everything we needed. We had a wonderful holiday there and did not want to leave. We can't wait to go back there again. Our holiday was perfect and The Lambing Shed was perfect, you cannot improve on perfection.

Although it took us some time & effort to find The Lambing Shed (owner had to come out and find us) we were not disapointed when we got there. The cottage has been finished to a very high standard and has every thing and more to ensure all our needs & comfort was met. I would recomend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a stay away from home in beautiful acccomodation in North Wales.

I would highly recommend this property and can't wait to book it again. Overall the holiday was perfect from the initial greeting from the owners, lovely touches; milk in the fridge, Welsh cakes and meadow flowers. The property itself is beautiful and the owners have thought of everything to ensure a memorable stay including giant Jenga, dominoes and 3 metre dog lead attached on the patio. Loved the patio area and the children loved the stream at the bottom of the meadow. I can't fault this property had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful area of Dyserth didn't want to come home and my 10 year old twins said it was one of the best holidays they've ever had and it was lovely to watch them being kids in a safe and beautiful environment.
