The cottage had everything your need. It was clean, modern and comfortable. Not far from Caernarfon. The owners were very helpful. The setting was stunning. The only draw back could be steep steps to the living area.

The location of the property in relation to Snowdonia. Excellent views from the cottage over the Menai Straits. The games room was a very welcome addition to the facilities. The owner was friendly and welcoming without being at all intrusive.

My friends and I rented this cottage for a reunion holiday and we were thoroughly impressed with the accommodation, setting, friendly nature of the owner and the homely touches that made this beautiful cottage a hard place to leave after a wonderful week.

Loved our stay here. We were treated like old friends! The cottage was beautiful - great views, plenty of space and lovely decor. Nothing was too much trouble for Rhiann the owner, she even got our son a present as we celebrated his 7th birthday here! We can't recommend this holiday complex enough, the games room is a huge bonus and a great feature for the whole family. We will be back someday soon we're sure.

We received a really friendly welcome from the owner - fantastic location for touring North Wales. A perfect way to celebrate our son's 7th birthday! We would not hesitate to recommend to others. The scenery and sunsets were beautiful. Such a peaceful but not an isolated location.

The cottage was modern, clean and very well equipped. Despite the snow and ice outside the cottage it was very warm and cosy. We felt comfortable and relaxed and the proprietors went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more from the holiday.

Lovely peaceful cottage. Excellent location. The children just loved the playroom! The only thing I could ask for more would be the provision of a cafetia as I just love my morning coffee!

Rated by A FlipKey verified reviewer reviewed on 18th December 2009

The owner is very friendly and helpful and was there to greet us on arrival. The "Welsh cream tea" left in the kitchen area was a welcoming touch. The location of the cottage is excellent being well placed to travel easily to Snowdon, the Llyn peninsula and the north Wales coast. The grounds that it and other cottages are in are very well kept with sweeping views to the north and south. Accommodation was very good with the "upside down" arrangement making the best of the views. Bedrooms were very comfortable and well furnished. The major let down was the kitchen where there was a lack of cooking vessels (casserole dishes, bowls and small pans), insufficent utensils such as kitchen knives, and the fridge was too small. We were only two people but struggled to fit a few days of fresh food and drink into it. If the facilities for self catering had been better, we would have easily awarded 4 or 5 stars.
