Reviews

The Studio is situated up a small hill on the southern edge of Bradwell. Instructions to find it were excellent, as was all communication with the owners. I found it to be very clean and well equipped. Bradwell is a great base for exploring the Peak District and I'm glad to say I didn't use my car once during the week, going for walks and cycle rides from the door. Bradwell has pubs and a couple of small supermarkets, which was enough for my needs. I need to emphasise how tiny the Studio is. I adapted my week's stay there accordingly and managed ok, but I was staying on my own and really wouldn't have liked to be bumping into someone else for the holiday. I will definitely return to the Studio, but would only recommend for couples staying for a short break, or longer if staying alone.

We needed somewhere to stay to recharge after a busy life in animal rescue. This place is small and compact and fit our needs perfectly. The room was clean and tidy, communication from the owner was fantastic. Amazing views from the surrounding areas. Exactly what we needed. Loved our stay

After a year in which I had become 'single again' I wanted somewhere affordable to get away for some fresh air, where I could cook my own food, relax and do lots of hill walking. The studio really lived up to my hopes. For the school holidays, the price was good. Communication was efficient both before the visit and via the written guide. The accommodation is compact but I was impressed with how well everything worked - even down to the sharp chopping knives. The shower was great (welcome after 6 hour walks ) and the owners provided high quality bedding and towels. The internet was easy to set up if a little intermittent at times. Parking is not adjacent to the property but I had no trouble finding somewhere close by. One of the biggest bonuses was being able to go on walks without using the car at all. Bradwell connects the white and dark peak areas so there is a big choice of walking routes. Chapel en le frith is less than 10 miles with two supermarkets whilst Bradwell itself has a decent sized co-op and a generous fish and chip shop. All in all a great week. My only reservation was the lack of stotage space. Even some of the space under the bed was taken up with spare linen and towelswhich meant food had to stay in the shopping bag at the end of the bed. If i went again, I would buy food daily from the co-op.

The Studio is small but very cute. It is in a beautiful setting, the village of Bradwell is lovely and is surrounded by glorious countryside.

There was everything we needed in our tiny but perfectly formed cottage. There is a pub right by it which is nice and 10 minutes walk away a lovely restaurant serving really lovely food. There are great walks close by. Maps and torches were in the cottage. I would love to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the studio, the accommodation was perfect for us and we especially loved the position. Bradwell is a fantastic village and from the studio you can quickly be on to beautiful footpaths and lovely walks. A very happy holiday.

Clean, well equipped and warm (during a cold snap). It has great shower facilities but in spite of being so well provided with all the necessary kitchenalia the room, in our opinion,is just too small if you want to self cater. Living space does not permit of swinging a very small mouse let alone a cat! This place is better suited to those who eat out. The location is great, situated in a quaint back lane in a village well supplied with four pubs and good shops. Bus services here link to good walks and also join up with train service. Excellent walks locally so no need to take the car out if you don't want to.
