From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Lovely cottage, extremely comfortable and well equipped. Everything you would need is there. Beautiful area and lots of walks available right from the front door! Would definitely recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
There was everything you could possibly need in the cottage.
We've stayed at this delightful cottage several times now & it never disappoints. If you want a complete escape from the stresses of modern life, then this is perfect. It was quiet with plenty of room and you can go straight into the forest for walks & mountain biking. The birds & wildlife are Scotlands best. The clear sky with zero light pollution is fabulous for stargazers. A perfect setting for all sorts of outdoor pursuits & plenty of places to visit. Enjoy!
Lovely and quiet, excellent location for walking.
A beautiful location and an idyllic cottage, with lots of birds and a pheasant family visiting the garden every day.
The property and its setting was much better than described, it was clean and well equipped, would recommend to anyone. In a fantastic setting.
Great location - walking and cycling straight from the door. Could leave the car behind.
A very peaceful and cosy property, the location was excellent for walking and mountain biking.
A beautiful and secluded location. The cottage was comfortable and warm. Sky TV in the lounge and the bedroom was an extra bonus. Lots of wildlife in the garden and good location for exploring the Cairngorms and the Fort William areas.
The location was great. The cottage was comfortable and quiet with a lovely garden.
Great location, peace and quiet, lovely cottage. Log fire was great.
The cottage was very well equipped and in a marvellous location. Very secluded with lots of great walks straight from the door. The photos do not do this property justice. I would highly recommend this property and we are already looking forward to going back.
A perfect little cottage, making a perfect retreat. Loved it; absolute value for money. Will go back and recommend to others.
Secluded, quiet, loved the wood burning stove. Very comfortable cottage and a fantastic location. The owners were very helpful.
On arrival at the Cottage we were stunned by just how beautiful this place was, I have to say the pictures on the Sykes Website simply don't do the place justice. Owner was very helpful, we had contacted her on the Thursday to discuss Key pick up and also asked if the Cottage had Sky as we were wanting to watch the Boxing on our first night, she advised it did and arranged for the pay per view boxing for us which we thought was over and above our expectations. I have nothing negative to say at all about the Cottage, it was a pleasure to return too after a day out. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, Sitting Room is very comfortable and cosy with a Log Burning Fire, we didn't get to use the Fire as the weather we had was amazing, was not expecting to be sat outside in Shorts and Vests but I'm not complaining. Bathroom is all newly fitted out with a bath and separate shower and the bedrooms are both a good size with comfortable beds. Lots of Wildlife visit the property garden, lots of different Birds and if your lucky you'll get to see the Pine-marten's that visit, we left food for them each day but they will only come for it if your inside. All in all this is a fantastic Cottage amongst the most stunning scenery and for the price you pay for the week it is a Bargain. Would recommend to anyone..!!!
The cottage was in the middle of the forest, with no neighbouring houses and very quiet. Right next to plenty of walks.

Excellent comfortable accommodation in a quiet location but well placed for lots of activities. We would be happy to return anytime.
The wood burner in the cottage and the location of the cottage. The anteroom for taking off boots and coats was excellent. The cottage was well thought out. I would happily stay there again.
Fantastic cottage, the pictures on the internet just didn't do it justice.
