We've stayed at this delightful cottage several times now & it never disappoints. If you want a complete escape from the stresses of modern life, then this is perfect. It was quiet with plenty of room and you can go straight into the forest for walks & mountain biking. The birds & wildlife are Scotlands best. The clear sky with zero light pollution is fabulous for stargazers. A perfect setting for all sorts of outdoor pursuits & plenty of places to visit. Enjoy!

A beautiful and secluded location. The cottage was comfortable and warm. Sky TV in the lounge and the bedroom was an extra bonus. Lots of wildlife in the garden and good location for exploring the Cairngorms and the Fort William areas.

Rated by Mrs Wylie reviewed on 20th February 2014

On arrival at the Cottage we were stunned by just how beautiful this place was, I have to say the pictures on the Sykes Website simply don't do the place justice. Owner was very helpful, we had contacted her on the Thursday to discuss Key pick up and also asked if the Cottage had Sky as we were wanting to watch the Boxing on our first night, she advised it did and arranged for the pay per view boxing for us which we thought was over and above our expectations. I have nothing negative to say at all about the Cottage, it was a pleasure to return too after a day out. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, Sitting Room is very comfortable and cosy with a Log Burning Fire, we didn't get to use the Fire as the weather we had was amazing, was not expecting to be sat outside in Shorts and Vests but I'm not complaining. Bathroom is all newly fitted out with a bath and separate shower and the bedrooms are both a good size with comfortable beds. Lots of Wildlife visit the property garden, lots of different Birds and if your lucky you'll get to see the Pine-marten's that visit, we left food for them each day but they will only come for it if your inside. All in all this is a fantastic Cottage amongst the most stunning scenery and for the price you pay for the week it is a Bargain. Would recommend to anyone..!!!
