Just home from spending Friday to Monday in November at The Orangery house in Tenby. Beautiful place, great size for 6 adults. Kitchen very well equipped. Great facilities. Only thing missing was a file on how things worked. Fire in living room, couldn't get to light, no instructions on how 2. Heating was on a timer, could have done with it being on a little earlier of an afternoon. Again no information given. Would these little points put us off going again. Definitely not, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Hopefully will get to stay again.

Stay for a week in June 2018. This is a holiday let which has everything going for it. Pros: 2 parking spaces Downstairs toilet & utility with washing machine & tumble 1 huge bedroom with French doors overlooking front 1 double which is quite tight width wise 1 with 2 singles, ideal really as the second double, French doors 1 bathroom, nice & spacious 1 very large shower room. We were 2 families with 1 7 year old & this house suited us to a tee The lounge is huge & has a large round table with 6 chairs The kitchen is massive & has all you will need & even plastic plates etc for children, a really nice touch The beds are comfy & clean We have already booked for next year The owner really cares & is very friendly 5 mins walk up the hill to North beach which is really great for children 10 mins walk into town, which has a good variety of shops & a fab pasty shop, amusements, electrical shop, clothes shops & one off shops. 2 mins down the hill for a large Co-op 10 mins out of Tenby, you are in the countryside with many attractions Cons: The kitchen needs a mat at the back door as the floor is slippy when wet The kitchen cooker hood needs a good clean & the kitchen floor had coffee that had been on it for ages, I did try getting it up with baby wipes, but it had obviously been there to long The lamps in the bedroom need to be brighter/higher for bedtime reading Love a larger telly Overall: So, so lovely, owner cares about his letting a & this shows in little touches I give this let 10/10 as the cons are so minor Masses of space for everyone to not be under each other's feet Thank you Jes

The space in house was great, especially with a little child. It was a good location and a bonus having parking.

Rented this cottage for a 3 night break through Sykes cottages. Contacted the owner 3 days before our arrival for directions & arrival procedure. The owner is a very nice friendly gentleman who gave me directions which were spot on, he informed me where the key would be and also relative information regarding the rental. I asked if we could arrive earlier than the specified time on the booking form and he said it would be okay so long as we gave an expected arrival time {nice touch}. On arrival the owner was there to greet us personally & he showed us how to switch on the heating / fire / washing machine etc. There is parking space for 2 cars. On first impressions the house is exactly as shown in the photos, The living room area is very large & had panoramic views through the patio doors. It has two sofas & an arm chair, large round table with 6 chairs. There is a TV with free-view & also some games to play if so desired. The kitchen was adequate for what we needed, it had all the essential equipment for a weekend stay. There is a utility room with a toilet downstairs. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, of which one is absolutely huge with a king size bed & wardrobe & is also large enough to put another bed in there. it also has patio doors which open onto he veranda which runs across the front of the house. The other 2 rooms both have double beds & wardrobes, one of these also open out onto the veranda. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs of which both have showers. Bed linen & towels are provided. In the entrance hall is a stand which provides leaflets / brochures of local attractions / restaurants and general things to do in the area. The location of the house is approx 10 mins from the town. Overall our stay was excellent & I would really recommend renting this property, have a look on the website. A week after our stay the owner contacted me, which again is another plus point as it shows he cares about feedback regarding his property. Will definitely rent this house again in the near future.

The main living area was wonderful. The main bedroom, and especially the bed, were amazing. Location is good and the house was lovely and peaceful, just what we wanted.

The property is ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the beach and town centre. It has adequate parking for two vehicles and is spacious and well equipped. This is our second year staying at this property and we have already booked for next year. The owner is very obliging.

Rated by Mr Edwards reviewed on 16th August 2014

The accommodation was perfect for our family's needs. Really clean, lots of space, well located and well kitted out. We cooked a roast dinner and the equipment in the kitchen was better than in our own kitchen! It was fantastic that the property had two cots and two high chairs, it enabled us to fit everything else in the car easily. The owner was easily contactable when we had a query and very friendly.

Rated by Mrs John reviewed on 10th May 2014

An unusually large open area downstairs with two sets of french doors and beautiful drapes, big settees and dining table, huge mirrors all beautifully clean. Ditto the bedrooms and kitchen. The garden was colourful and the courtyard area was unusual and eye catching all very well kept up together. All in all a superb base to relax in, and to be able to walk into Tenby for an evening walk and meal was the icing on the cake. Would recommend without hesitation for all ages.

We rent at least four cottage holidays a year and this property is definitely in our top ten. The size, layout and décor of the property is excellent and we would have no qualms in recommending this property to family and friends and will certainly come back again ourselves.

Fantastic location, a short distance from the sea and the centre of Tenby. The house was beautifully appointed family accommodation.

Rated by Mrs Sayle reviewed on 3rd November 2013

There was plenty of room for everyone, and the children had space to run around outside. We had a lovely time with plenty to do for the children within an easy drive, as well as the beach only being a 5-10 minute walk away. This was my second visit to the Orangery, and I look forward to returning again.

Rated by Mrs Brewer reviewed on 31st August 2013

The house was lovely and there was plenty of room for me, my husband and my parents. All facilites one would ned were there and it rerally was a home from home. We were very lucky with the weather and when not exploring Tenby and the surrounding area, enjoyed sitting in the garden soaking up sun. All in all a superb time was had by all and we would certainly all be happy to return

Tenby is beautiful and cannot be recommended enough, we were a family of children, parents and grandparents, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The house is modern and spacious with plenty of space in the garden to enjoy the sun, there is ample parking space for two cars, and the property is only 5 minutes walk to the beach and town.

Rated by Mr Parkinson reviewed on 24th August 2013

The location of the property was ideal, it was set in a quiet close yet was reasonably central with easy access to both beach and shops. The property itself was of a high standard with all of the equipment and furnishings that one could expect.

The house was lovely, close to the town and beach, 5 minutes walk to the outside of the town. Tenby was lovely, shame about the weather! Fabulous beaches and nice shops.

Rated by Mrs Palmer reviewed on 20th May 2013

The quality and location of the Orangery made for a perfect holiday. A beautiful, spacious house with superb facilities, a full length first floor balcony, located in a quiet off the road area just a 5 minute walk from the sea front/Town. This set the trend for the holiday plus Tenby and surrounding places, i.e. Saundersfoot, Manorbier, Caldy etc. were all beautiful to visit.

Rated by Mr Butler reviewed on 5th May 2013

Everything was superb. The cottage is excellent and the amenities exceptional. A very spacious, contemporary cottage with loads of space, expecially if you are taking children. Everything in the house was easy to operate. We had very cold weather but the cottage was very warm and cosy. Complete luxury. No worries with parking either. Having the car parking (2 cars) facility was a bonus and could walk into town easily which we did every day so only used the car if on an outing. A superb relaxing holiday in a fabulous place.

Property available on arrival and was spacious and comfortable. Within walking distance of the town centre and the beaches which were fabulous. In particular South Beach and its amenities are recommended. Facilities at North Beach need upgrading. Particularly recommend walking along beaches when the tide is out.

The Orangery was a spacious, well-equipped and modern property, excellently prepared by the owner. Good interior facilities, a nice garden which was enjoyed by our granddaughter especially and perfect for sharing with our daughter and son in law because of the space and the 2 bathrooms. It was very conveniently situated close to the North beach and all town amenities and had very good parking facilities. We also liked the slightly over the top pink colour as it made for a cheerful holiday home!.

Just returned from 2 weeks in the Orangery - a lovely property just 5 minutes walk up St John's Hill to the North Beach and top of the town. Another 5 minutes will get you to the South beach. Property was spotless and included everything you'd need for a stay. 2 toilets in upstairs bath/shower rooms and 1 downstairs in utility with washing machine and dryer. Beds comfortable, big lounge with gas fire and freeview tv/dvd. We travelled with 3 teenage boys and this was great accommodation for us. There are steps up to the property and Tenby itself it pretty hilly so it may not suit someone with mobility problems. The owner was very helpful -quickly replaced the dryer the following day when it broke and lent us a map when we told him we were going to St Davids. Tenby was a great base to see Pembrokeshire. We had mixed weather so only got on the beach a couple of days. Would recommend the Tudor Merchant's House and Lifeboat station in the town. Also St Mary's church is worth a look at. Qube does a lovely meal, although pricey for a family ( they do an early evening menu cheaper, but no-one ordered from it!!) The Buccaneer did a good meal too and has a lovely beer garden. Get fish and chips from the shop in Lower Frog Street - the others aren't nearly as good. We went on the Ghost Walk, which was just average I'd say - very pleasant and entertaining guide, just the stories weren't much cop. There's a Tesco Express in the Main Street and a bigger Sainsbury's handy. At the bottom of St John's Hill just a minute away is a Spar at the filling station which is good for milk bread etc. What else? A trip to Heatherton was great and the Treetops well worth doing. Oakwood theme park great day out as was Caldey Island. We took a wildlife trip from Cardigan and this was very enjoyable although we only saw 3 dolphins briefly and a few seals. Plenty of birds though and the inflatable boat was an experience in itself. Chocolate factory was good, but maybe better form younger kids, Blue Lagoon water park was good for all the family - would be excellent for younger ones and you could eat there without getting out of swimwear which I hadn't come across before. Hubby and I went to Laugharne to see Dylan Thomas Boathouse. Worth a trip but don't eat in the cafe as it seems very overpriced. Manorbier Castle definitely worth a visit and the beach is lovely too. You can have a picnic there and get a cup of tea at the tearoom. Pembroke castle terrific. Walked round Carew castle and mill but didn't go in ( castled out by then!). Seemed nice and the walk round the lake was pleasant. Tenby is a great base to see lots of places and even if the weather isn't great, just get out and go for it - it rarely rains all day without ceasing. The Orangery is a great, quiet and pretty convenient place to stay. You'll have good calf muscles by the end with all the hills!

What an amazing house! Very spacious indeed and beautifully furnished and comfortable. We really enjoyed our week here and although the weather was changeable, to say the least, it was nice to have such a nice place to come home to at the end of the day. The property was also fairly close to all amenities and the beach although it was a hit of a climb.
