Heacham is a village located on the Norfolk coastline boasting a family friendly sandy beach ideal for jet skis, kitesurfing and windsurfing. The village has many cottages built from Carstone, which is a feature of this part of Norfolk, and also offers a good range of shops, restaurants and country pubs. Within walking distance is Caley Hall, home to Norfolk Lavender with its sweet smelling lavender fields. This part of Norfolk is renowned for its abundance of birdlife throughout the year, with several local RSPB sites; while within easy driving distance is Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens. Nearby Hunstanton offers traditional seaside entertainment including a sealife centre, while The Queen's Sandringham Estate is just a 15 minute drive.
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways, East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
The cottage is exactly as described. It is extremely clean and tidy on arrival. The kitchen is well stocked - crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. To be honest more than you'd need but covers all bases. Modern equipment throughout including a new smart TV. The owner is very friendly and readily available should the need arise (it didn’t for us). Off road car parking is easy to access and the road is not busy making it easy to get out. Location is just great. Walking distance to three pubs, a Tesco Express at the end of the road (Lidl on the edge of the village) and of course the beach is only about a mile away. Can't recommend highly enough.
We had a lovely relaxing few days in a gorgeous little cottage!
Home from home. The property is set in a lovely location that was very peaceful and we would recommend this cottage.
We have stayed in many excellent self catering cottages over the years but Kath's Cottage is up there with the very best. The owner can be proud of this lovely comfortable cottage which has everything that you need for your stay. Well located for the local attractions with Sandringham House only a short drive away.
Such a warm and cosy cottage. Lovely and clean. We found the cottage well placed for a winter birding and walking holiday.
We liked it all. The cottage was well stocked with everything. We would like to use cottage again if available.
When we arrived at Kath's Cottage we entered a warm, inviting cottage which was immaculate and had everything you could wish for to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathroom lovely and the bed really comfortable. We were able to enjoy many beautiful walks both along the coast and inland. All in all a really enjoyable holiday which we would recommend to anyone.
A lovely cottage in a really good location for visiting North Norfolk. Having a parking place is a real bonus for this part of the world. There were plenty of beaches and places to visit nearby.
Home from home feeling, in peace and quiet, a very nice place to unwind.
This cottage is top of the range in all respects, top quality all round. We really enjoyed our stay.
We could not fault this property in any way at all. It was spotless, like a home from home. Every facility you could need was available within walking distance.
We have just returned from a week in Kath's Cottage. Everything was very clean and furnished to a high standard with safe parking. The cottage is in a very quiet position in a lovely village and we felt very cosy and comfortable. We would certainly recommend this property, thank you to the owner.
In a good location with plenty to do and see in North Norfolk without having to travel far. It was a pleasure to return to Kath's Cottage, it was so warm and comfortable after a busy sightseeing day out.
We love this cottage and its quality, location, easy parking and ease of access to bird reserves.

The cottage was very warm and cosy and was a joy to come back to after our long winter walks.
This was our second stay at the property. The standard is excellent with everything provided. Cleanliness is of a high standard and could not be faulted. The owners are really nice and go the extra mile to provide a wonderful stay. This will not be our last visit to this property.
The holiday was extra special with a perfect cottage with everything that you could think of supplied. Also a bonus was the location with most services being close at hand.
The cottage, although in the middle of the village, was so peaceful. Good nearby village amenities and a very good location for sightseeing.
The cottage was absolutely first-class and we could not have found anything better. We enjoyed the surroundings and it was perfect for touring both by car and bus. The owners were very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We will certainly be thinking of returning in the not too distant future.
Excellent cottage, beautifully presented. Very convenient for shops and good eating places.
We had a great time. The cottage was lovely. Clean, comfortable and very well done. It's well situated for the surrounding area. The shops and pub are in easy walking distance, the Fox and Duck even has a micro brewery next door. The local people are friendly and helpful, as was the owner.
Loved everything about it. The Cottage was the best one we have holidayed in, the landlady was warm and friendly and Heacham itself is charming.
Kath's Cottage was absolutely brilliant - it had everything we needed - washer/drier came in handy, Tesco just around the corner - a brilliant chip shop a few yards away and The Fox and Goose within walking distance for a meal. A little further to The West - Norfolk and nearby Sedgeford, King William IV and easy parking at the front of the cottage - we would recommend the cottage to anyone.
A lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful village. The standard and finish of the Cottage was outstanding and we couldn't have asked for more. In fact we loved the area so much that we really considered moving to Norfolk and even checked some properties that were for sale. There was nothing we didn't like, even the sun shone for us over the week.
Kath's cottage was everything we required. We absolutely loved Heacham. Everything was perfect for us. Heacham was such a tranquil place, was a pleasant walk to the beach and nearby had the services we enjoyed, Tesco, Fish and chip shop and a very clean Indian restaurant. We walked for 3 days around the coast and villages, visited Sandringham, Pensthorpe Nature Park, Holkham Hall and Kings Lynn. The bus service was so regular and reliable, we used it several times.
Kath's Cottage was the perfect place for us to have a relaxing weekend break. We met the landlady when we arrived who was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage suited our needs perfectly and was furnished and equipped to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Kath's Cottage to anyone wanting to find a cosy retreat by the seaside.
The cottage is situated in a beautiful little village with all the shops you need, and the weather was absolutely beautiful If one likes walking this is just the area and the sea front is only half an hour walk. or Hunstanton is only five minutes away by car. The Norfolk Lavender gardens are only a fifteen minute walk from the cottage. The holiday was made special by the condition and cleanliness of the property and would definitely recommend this cottage to any couple who like peace and quiet
A brilliant cottage to stay in. Warm, well appointed holiday home.
House was excellent. All top quality and I mean everything. We were told only to bring our suitcase and toothbrush and that was exactly right. Well catered for, lovely cottage, all the bedroom linen was top grade excellent quality. Sad to leave but we have already booked four weeks through Sykes Cottages. Would certainly recommend this cottage to family and friends.
Warm and cosy, especially good for a Winter break. Very quiet yet within easy walking distance of local shops. Greatly situated as a base for touring North Norfolk.
We enjoyed the whole experience. We didn't expect the weather to brilliant but the cottage and the surrounding area made up for that. We met the owner just before we left and we felt that everything had been very positive and friendly. All in all a great winter break.
Location is good and the cottage was cosy and warm - ideal for a winter break with long walks and bird watching.
The cottage was warm, inviting and provided a great base to explore the North Norfolk coast. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and intend returning next year. Heacham village has every amenity that you could possibly want and the local bus service is excellent.
The owner and her helper look after the property themselves and keep it to a very high standard. They are both very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The overall quality of the furnishing, décor and equipment was first class. This cottage must really move to the top of our list, and we would certainly recommend it to any of our friends, and intend to return in the future.
The cottage was ideal for getting around, and was in excellent condition. Great care and attention has been put into this house, and the love showed through, this made the stay even more enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone looking for an ideal place to chill out with excellent home-from-home facilities. It was like being in a Five Star hotel with all the facilities.

Our second visit to this wonderful cottage which is ideally situated for exploring beautiful North Norfolk. We would highly recommend it.
A perfect place to chill out in the little garden, not overlooked at all, or as a base to explore the surrounding area. Off-road parking in front of the garden fence too, which is a bonus in a busy village. We had a lovely chill-out week here and would be more than happy to come back or recommend it to anyone else, 10/10.
This is the best holiday accommodation I have stayed in. The cottage was well placed in a lovely village, within 10 minutes walk you could get everything from daily paper, fresh bread, pint of beer or your evening meal.
The location to the coast was great. The cottage was lovely and the little touches of milk and a fruit bowl were lovely. There were ample towels.
Cottage was lovely and there was so much to do in the area, needed two weeks not one. Lots of extras come with this cottage, such as tea, coffee, milk, fruit, toiletries and extra towels.
The cottage was warm, well appointed and immaculately clean and in a quiet location, although in the centre of the village.
A lovely cottage in a beautiful village, well located for the wider area. Always a joy.

Very attractive cottage both outside and in. Generous supply of starter food and other household items. Heachem was also ideal for exploring most of Norfolk.
Very welcoming and comfortable. Everything provided including tea, coffee, condiments, shampoo, gell, etc. The owner even asked us what milk we used and left 4 pints in the fridge for us, and there was a bowl of fruit and chocolates to welcome us. Everything we needed (and more) for the start of our holiday. There is a local Tesco Express and other shops within 5 minutes walk. We enjoyed exploring the North Norfolk coast. The cottage was so well equipped and welcoming to come back to after birding in the freezing weather! Everything was lovely and clean and our welcome from the owner was brilliant.
We were very impressed by the high standard of soft furnishings and the extra attention to detail that the owner had given. This was a gem of a cottage! Although only for two people, the rooms were all large, airy and beautifully furnished. Ideally situated just off the high street, it made shopping for necessities incredibly easy and was an excellent base to explore the area.
A beautiful cottage in a lovely village. The owner goes to so much trouble to make it enjoyable and comfortable.
This cottage is a little jewel - everything is well thought out and lots of little extras included. As I like to cook on holiday it is wonderful to find everything needed and even foil, clingfilm, seasonings and oils etc. You can really just pack clothes and hobby equipment. I have not stayed anywhere that comes near to this standard before we found this cottage!
