This is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. It was like a student dorm, tatty, very dirty and unmatched furniture. Bins not emptied before we arrived and food left in fridge. Kitchen tap broken, bedside lamp broken …I could go on. Contacted Sykes today….totally not interested. Never book this accommodation.

I stayed here with my partner for a week, quirky and everything you need. Location is lovely and us very quiet in the evenings. The views are stunning, we didn't have direct views but it is seconds away. The owner was really kind and if we had any problems he was approachable. The price it is such a bargain.

We booked the Sail Loft Annex through Sykes Cottages for a week's holiday. The booking process was straightforward and the information provided by Sykes was very useful. The apartment was clean and tidy with easy access to the beach although there was no sea view. However, this did not detract from our enjoyment of the holiday as the views over the water are superb and the location is ideal for walking and exploring the island generally. There is a bistro next door which serves an excellent Sunday carvery! The owner was courteous and helpful and we were made to feel welcome with our Jack Russell dog. We would certainly return to this place although we would try for one of the other apartments here with a sea view if possible.

This property is very clean and airey situated close to fort Victoria it would be ideal for weekend or midweek stay it is about a 20 minute walk into Yarmouth which is a delightful place with enough restaurants to eat differently each night. I said ideal for weekend stay mainly because there is only one wardrobe which is child size so okay to hang a few shirts/blouses we stayed for a week not enough room to hang all of our clothes so lived out of suitcases. The bathroom is a good size and plenty of hot water however the shower is very poor(had to run around to get wet). It is in a lovely location right on the shingle beach. The best apartments in this property are 1,2,3,4.

This apartment was one of the cleanest holiday rentals we have had, could not fault any of the inside, the location is amazing, but our only disappointment was that we were at the back of the building so we had no sea view, it did not spoil our holiday and we have booked for next year but an apartment at the front with a sea view.

The location was brilliant, especially with a dog, with the beach at one side and the country park at the other. Liked that it was a peaceful quiet location, that was close enough to somewhere a bit livelier if we felt like it. Plenty of cupboard space for clothes, food and everything else. Well set out for a small apartment, and perfect for two.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful. Ideal for taking a dog. The town within easy walking distance. Would definitely return, probably to one of the other properties overlooking the sea.

We couldn't fault anything. Everybody we met was friendly. The owner was very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Ideal for a quiet and restful holiday, we were lucky for weather. Everything on the Isle Of White isn't too far away, doesn't take too long to get anywhere.

The location as directly on the beach with wonderful views and woodland walks nearby. Being able to take along the dog who had the best time on his holiday. The most relaxing holiday I have ever had.

It was seconds from the dog-friendly beach. I could see Hurst Castle and the lighthouse, watch the ferries, hear the buoy ringing and lots more. The apartment was thoughtfully designed. I loved the honeysuckle outside!

A very good place to stay - everything was clean and all you would want to make your stay a very pleasant one. The owner was very nice and was there to welcome us.

Everything. Great location and lovely to be so close to the sea. Very quiet and relaxing, a very special Christmas break. A big thank you to all staff who helped find this apartment at short notice for a busy time of year.

The location of the apartment. A slower pace and the beauty of the island. The amazing number of walks and the dog friendly atmosphere.

The location of the property. It was only 5 minutes drive from the ferry terminal at Yarmouth. The property also is adjacent to the beach and excellent views across the channel. Good parking facilities.

The owner was friendly and very helpful. It was perfectly positioned for fabulous walks and great site seeing. Open the patio door and you are on the edge of The Solent - just amazing and tranquil. We didn't want to come home and the dog was made more than welcome too! We will return.
