Reviews

A really lovely base for a great area. The cottage had everything you need, was spotlessly clean, a really informative welcome folder and friendly owners.

Lovely cosy cottage. Exceptionally well equipped and perfect for a couple or small family. Nicely decorated with beautiful art prints of local scenes, coordinated bed linen and curtains, and country style furniture. Very well equipped little kitchen with everything you could possibly need for making breakfast, snacks or even a full meal. Lots of books about the area, novels, TV and DVD player for rainy days, as well as a lovely area to sit out in the sunshine. Fantastic electric shower. Great location close to beautiful beaches and outstanding coastal walks. The cottage is 30 seconds from the village shop which is very well stocked.

Well located for access to several dog friendly beaches and places to eat.

The cottage was as described in the booking details. A very welcoming arrival, the cottage was warm and there were cakes and the necessities for making a hot drink available including a jug of fresh milk. Ideally situated for the local beaches, the nearest one being within two miles with ample (reasonably priced) parking close to the beach. The cottage is dog friendly as is the local pub in the village (within walking distance) where meals can be taken in the bar if you have a dog with you.

It was our first time in the area and we found the extensive literature on the walks and sights very useful. The cottage is in an ideal location, in close proximity to the beach. Also, we found the shop across the road very useful indeed.

The cottage was very comfortable and warm. A welcome tray was prepared for us, a great pick-me-up after a long journey! The owner welcomed us to make sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. She also gave me information on local walks for the dog, which I appreciated. Very thoughtful and caring to visitors needs.
