Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Returned to Poppy Cottage after staying for a week in July, to continue exploring the area. It is clean and comfortable with all the equipment needed for a weeks stay. Plus a comfy king size bed and good shower, with plenty of hot water. Lovely views from terrace, of Anglesey and the Menai Straits. Ideally situated near Caernarfon. The pub mentioned is no longer open and I wouldn't recommend walking on the road anyway as it's quite narrow and busy! The owner is helpful and friendly. If you want wifi it's not available in the actual cottage but is in the games room next door but one. Lovely quiet location.
Such a relaxing well laid out setting, and an ideal property for a couple. 10/10.
The cottage was in a great position for exploring Snowdonia, the Llyn peninsula, Anglesey and North Wales generally. We were made very welcome at the cottage which was modern and well looked after inside and out.
Fantastic location, amazing views and a lovely setting.
Very friendly welcome from the owner and a welcome pack of goodies which didn't last long!! Third visit to this property, which speaks for itself. The cottage is ideally situated for discovering Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula.
Lovely accomadation, just what we had hoped for.
A well designed and maintained cottage in a peaceful and beautiful setting. A welcoming and very helpful owner who has paid great attention to detail in preparing the property and who is keen to make every visitor at home.
A beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need provided for you. The location is excellent for exploring North Wales and particularly Snowdonia. We would not hesitate to return.

Excellent accomadation, clean and well kept adequate facilities, main room needs better lighting.
The cottage had been converted only a few years ago. It was very tastefully done and we felt very happy there. The host was very kind and helpful. Everything we needed had been provided.
Quiet and peaceful in a very pleasant countryside setting with lovely views across the Menai Straits.
Excellent renovation, high standard. Superb location.
Poppy Cottage is a barn conversion done to a high standard using natural materials and has everything you need for a great holiday. It is ideally situated for Snowdonia, Angelsey and the coast. An ideal place to stay.
Poppy Cottage was in an excellent location, close to Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn peninsula. There was a petrol station with a convenience store 2 mins down the road and Caernarfon was 5 mins away with supermarkets, tourist office and places to eat. The cottage had plenty of character and had recently been renovated with all mod cons, so it was warm and comfy with plenty of hot water! The owner had a selection of DVDs that you could borrow for 50p and there was also a games room - good for a rainy day! The view (when it wasn't foggy) was lovely, looking over fields of sheep and right out to Anglesey.
