Absolutely loved this cottage, very modern, clean and cosy. Lovely welcome gift of some goodies. Plenty of cooking equipment. Great shower and modern bathroom. Cute little garden and parking right by the cottage. Great views around and location short drives to surrounding places like Whitby and Scarborough. Would visit again.

A really lovely cottage, finished to a high standard. We have stayed in a lot of self- catering places and this is one of the best. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Bathroom has separate bath and spacious shower. Great location for walking, including direct from the cottage. The Cleveland Way and Whitby to Scarborough cinder track are nearby and it is easy to devise circular walks of any length. Stunning coastal scenery. Between Whitby and Scarborough which are both interesting for a day out.

My husband and I have just returned from four nights at Dairy Cottage and it's been wonderful. Beautifully modern cottage, perfect for a couple wanting away from it all with great links. The cottage was immaculate and was fully equipped (the lack of wifi was a welcome escape!) Only 20 minutes from Whitby and with great local pubs. Very friendly dog welcomed us on our arrival and we did have a very flighty uninvited guest (keep the front door closed!) in the shape of a swift. Perfect little cottage, would return and recommend in a heart beat!

The location was good for exploring the North Yorkshire coast and the North Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was very warm and comfortable especially as the nights were chilly. The bed was spacious and comfortable and the cottage was clean. Having no dogs and no carpets was ideal for me with allergies.

The cottage was in a beautiful quiet spot with great views to the sea. The bathroom was amazing, with a whirlpool bath and heated floor! The kitchen was well equipped. It was equal distance from Whitby and Scarborough so we were able to get out and about and enjoy both places.

The cottage was away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the views were fantastic and the cottage itself was set out beautifully. The spa bath was a lovely feature as was the wood burner, very cosy. Would love to return in the future. Well done to the owners for creating a very romantic and cosy cottage!!

The isolation of the cottage suited us as we wanted to recharge our batteries. We knew what to expect as friends have previously stayed here. The log burner is a lovely touch on a cooler evening. The property is converted to a high standard and very well maintained.

Overall a first class cottage, the fixtures and fittings were all modern and of a high standard. Very good value for money on par with National trust cottages which we use regularly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other couples.

This cottage certainly had the WOW factor. The decor was lovely, the furnishings beautiful and the scenery, when you opened the front door first thing in the morning, was something you would want to see every day - sheep, horses and rolling fields. The location of this cottage is a photographer's delight. We enjoyed everything about the cottage and would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Dairy Cottage was absolutely lovely, and the ideal property for two people. It is in a great location near to Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby thus making in a great base to explore the area. The cottage itself has been decorated to an extremely high standard and the addition of the log burner was a really nice touch. We really cannot fault it, and would definitely like to come back and spend a whole week rather than just a long weekend.

Owners could not be more helpful, even the well behaved dog visits you as return at the end of the day. The cottage has everything you could want and more lovely views of the local farmland no traffic passes at all 10 minutes from Scarborough, half hour from North Yorkshire Moors Railway and 25 minutes from whitby. an ideal place to tour from.

Beautifully modern cottage in a fantastic setting. Owners were discrete - on hand for anything but not in the slightest intrusive. A couple of lovely little touches; a Christmas tree and a wrapped box of chocolates. Good handbook, maps and suggestions. Perfect break

View from cottage doorway was outstanding, we kept opening the door in the middle of the night to watch boats go by on the sea, a novelty when you come from landlocked Birmingham!

This must be about the best holiday cottage we have ever rented from any company. The fittings and equipment were top class, the bathroom the very best we have found in a holiday rental. It is located near to some stunning country side and coast with walks galore.

The cottage was well situated for visiting the local towns of Whitby & Scarborough & the beautiful coastal scenery. The cottage was stylish and attractively decorated and had everything we needed. It was a great pleasure to stay there. The owner was friendly and helpful and even the dog was welcoming! We did not know the area prior to this visit and were very pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see and do. We will return one day and will have no hesitation in staying at Staintondale again. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
