Stayed here as a base to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks from 7th-10th September 2018. Arrived late at night and the cottage was ready for our arrival. It was very spacious and well equipped for our stay. Excellent location, very clean, and a great price, exactly what you would want for a stay in this area. The owners must be very proud I would definitely recommend for anyone who is thinking of staying in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, all of us in the group would return to this lovely cottage, thank you x

Poppy cottage is a lovely cottage ideally situated on the doorstep of the three peaks. We found the accommodation clean and comfortable with a relaxed feel. The cottage has an open plan layout which gives it a spacious fell. The owners were very friendly and gave us permission to use their garden. We enjoyed meals outside with a great view of Pen y Ghent. The location makes a great base for walking any (or all 3 peaks!).

Has a very good view of Pen-y-Ghent from the upstairs lounge/extra bedroom area in well-lit room and has a pleasant garden available with excellent garden furniture. An excellent chance for a walking holiday with all mod cons.

Very good location for the three peaks and other walks straight out of the door with no need to use the car. well equipped cottage .open coal fire. river few steps away. pub just down the road. Only downside no village shop which if one looks on the net is still advertised in horton but has apparently been shut for 2 years. Plenty of room in cottage with two sitting rooms.

We thought the cottage was amazing and had everything and more that you could think of. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The abundance of wood, coal, kindling and fire lighters for the open fire to keep off the Yorkshire chill was brilliant and much appreciated.
