We really liked the fact that the place was really clean and airy. All things had been thought of like DVD's, etc. My parents really loved it too, as my mum is very particular when staying away. We would definitely recommend this place.

Have just returned from a week at this cottage. Excellent. Efficient booking and good instructions for finding the cottage. Very helpful owner whose priority was to make sure that we had a good holiday. Spotlessly clean and very attractively decorated cottage with first-rate and modern fittings. The paddock was good for walking the dog and there were tracks in the fields beyond if I wanted to go further. Plenty of activities to fill the week without the need to travel far

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Sweet Shop; it was more like home from home. The cottage was extremely comfortable, the welcome pack a nice extra touch. It was also lovely to take the dogs out and about the first time we have booked a holiday with them

We have stayed in a number of cottages through the years, but without a doubt this was the best in every way. We couldn't fault it and would recommend the Old Sweetshop to anyone.

We had a fantastic short break here in November with our 2 dogs. A really spacious cottage, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds they have everything you need and more. The owners are really friendly and helpful and welcoming. The secure courtyard area was a real bonus for us with the dogs. A very peaceful setting yet central to everywhere. We booked via the owners own website which was extremely easy to follow, we will definitely be going back again and have recommended to all our friends and family :D.

A new and well appointed cottage which not only served the nearby Nature Reserves on the Coast but also the Outstanding Beauty area of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The cottage was of a high standard and we had a most enjoyable and comfortable stay with many contrasting things to do.

We arrived just a little early and met the owners who let us walk the dogs, they were very friendly and down to earth and we enjoyed speaking to them. The cottage was brill; tea, coffee, sugar and milk were our welcome. There was a book advising us of doctors, shops and all the local amenities with a map of where we are and then showing us where the other places were. The owners were great hosts and I would return tomorrow if I could. The standard of the bedding was very high.
