Reviews

Stayed here in November and the house was lovely and warm and had everything we needed for a perfect break. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Lovely that the house was dog friendly, although the garden is not fenced at all which is not a problem for us, but may be for others. Nice to have off street parking and we parked two cars off road.

Absolutely outstanding holiday home from home. We stayed here for the first couple of weeks in august and had a wonderful time. The property is ideally situated with the beach at the end of the road which was perfect for dog walking each morning. Also, fantastic for a quick morning jog with a great route up to the castle then along the coast to Dylans and then back up through the town and either across to neighbouring Llanystumdwy or back down to the house. The house has everything you might need. The utility room was great with a big chest freezer and washer. All the rooms are light, airy and spacious. The bedrooms were fantastic with plenty of storage and comfortable beds. All in all, a wonderful stay made more pleasant by the very friendly owner who greeted us with cake and flowers. Massive thanks from the Bennetts and hope to return next year.

We thought that this was a particularly good cottage, warm and cosy with everything that we required, including being allowed to take our dogs.

The location was great. Lovely to be able to start walks from the house and not have to go by car everyday. However it was close to the places we wanted to visit when we did get the car out. A very comfortable, spacious house. We had the most fantastic weather all week which made our stay even better.

Nice spacious light, airy rooms. Plenty of cupboard space, handy utility with washing machine and good sized chest freezer. Sea and coastal path literally one minute away which our dog appreciated as the garden is not fenced in but was no problem. Criccieth village main street few minutes walk and castle worth a visit. Plenty of places of interest to visit locallywould recommend beach at Morfa Nefyn, river walk at Beddgelert and a day in Barmouth to include walk over the raiway bridge spanning the estuary.

Lovely location, very handy for the main high street where we can get the bus and trains.

A lovely holiday; in a quiet location, plenty of room to park and a beautiful area. Loved the house, it was perfect for us all and the washing machine meant we all went home with clean washing! Would rent this property again if I was in the area, very nice indeed.

Rated by Mrs Adams reviewed on 14th September 2014

The property was in a quiet location but very close to the seafront with views of the sea and castle from most windows. It was also near the coastal path and the town of Criccieth had good facilities and was very good for touring the area, nothing seemed very far away.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was very central and had all of the conveniences that we required as a family.

Loved the house. The owner was very welcoming. Just a short walk to the sea which was great. We could have stayed there forever.

Rated by Mrs Massey reviewed on 1st April 2014

We liked the close proximity of the property to the sea and we enjoyed many walks along the coastal path. The property was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and warm. We liked the area and particularly enjoyed our visit to Harlech.

Min y Traeth is a lovely home. It is so spacious, and with wonderful views of the sea from the dining room, and bed rooms. The bedrooms are lovely and with an en-suite in the main bedroom it is just perfect. It has a wonderful kitchen and utility room. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, either on their own or in a family. We were cosy and warm, with the heating and fire.

A well maintained, spacious house which was furnished to a very good standard. Down side was the garden which was unfenced allowing for local free roaming dogs to use at their leisure. A good location for visiting local attractions both in Criccieth and further afield.

Clean, spacious and warm house in a quiet location, although in walking distance to everything in Criccieth.

Rated by Mr Tsoumanis reviewed on 7th October 2013

The cottage was of excellent quality in a nice quiet cul-de-sac, just off the sea front, within a 10 minute walk from the high street. Criccieth has nice shopping, and a decent array of restaurants to choose from.

The location was ideal for walking the dog on the beach and the property itself was better than expected. 5 star, a credit to it's owners, we will be back.

It was a real pleasure to go to a property that had a good size modern TV with excellent reception. Everything was in good condition. We will definitely visit the house again.

Rated by James reviewed on 25th March 2012

Fabulous position with the sea view. Very comfortable large house to which we would love to return. First rate accommodation.

Rated by Mrs Roberts reviewed on 24th October 2011

This holiday home is ideally situated for the beach and for pottering around the village of Criccieth. The castle is worth a visit just for the views. The house is a new, modern, spacious, detached house so was just like transporting our own home to the seaside. Criccieth itself is a good base for touring further afield by car for longer breaks. This home is 100m away from the coastal path too. Excellent choice.
