Had the most wonderful week at this house. Everything has been thought of and all fixtures, fittings and equipment is if a high standard. We love it here and our whole family has enjoyed the holiday. Really rural location which is perfect for us, off the beaten track and so peaceful. Pictures don’t do this place justice.

A very clean and cosy cottage! There was plenty of room for the kids to play. It is in very quiet and green surroundings. We enjoyed our holiday very much and are looking forward to going back!

The location was ideal, very quiet and peaceful. Everything you could wish for.

We were impressed with the location, and the cleanliness of the property was spot on. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in and it is a credit to the owner.

First class accommodation in a cottage with first class everything - furniture, kitchen equipment, bedlinen and towels. We had an exceptional stay thanks partly to the wonderful weather - yes, the sun does shine in Wales. Comfortable beds led to good nights sleep and it was lovely to have the cows come to the fence by the french windows to say hello. We think they wanted to watch the telly with us. Would we go again, an emphatic yes, only next time I will take a sharp knife.

This is the most superb holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in. I can't fault it in any way. The cottage was totally private and very peaceful. The accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean with lots of very thoughtful touches. The outside space was fantastic. The location was very good for exploring this part of Wales. I would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return myself at some point in the future.

A beautiful holiday cottage in a very quiet and secluded location, a great base for exploring the area. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner. The cottage was bigger than expected with superb facilities. The photographs on the site don't do it justice, it is much nicer. We would be very happy to use this cottage again.

A beautiful house with quality furnishings and large gardens in a lovely secluded location.

Rated by Mr Parkinson reviewed on 7th September 2014

We really enjoyed staying in this remote cottage, where you hear no other sounds than the twittering of wild birds and some neighbouring farm animals! After a very warm welcome, we found that the whole property was furnished very tastefully and wonderfully. Everything was very clean and tidy. We used the cottage as a base for our exploration of South Wales, a role it fits really well in our opinion. Highly recommended!

This cottage was simply fantastic, the house was well furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The house is hidden behind a farm and has two large gardens which are always sunny and have a football net which our son loved, has a large kitchen with everything thought of and comfortable lounge. It is a short drive to all of Pembrokeshire and St Clears is a lovely little village with a few nice shops and takeaways. Tenby and Saundersfoot are also nearby. Outside the towns and beaches there a loads of things to do from castles to adventure parks. We went with three young children who loved every minute. The owner was also really nice and helpful, we would really like to say thanks.

Rated by Mr Thomson reviewed on 14th July 2014

The house is absolutely gorgeous and spacious, even with 6 people in it. The decor and general feel of the place is lovely, it was very clean and tidy with lots of added extras. This house is a hidden gem, stunning. Would highly recommend.

Location was fabulous. Perfect for our young family to go to attractions local to the property. Peaceful setting ideal for relaxing

Rated by Mr Moss reviewed on 11th May 2014

We loved the cottage and it was a good base to meet up with relatives. The drive to the cottage was a bit of a stress - however the cottage more than made up for the lack of a tarmac surface to drive on!

This was our 3rd visit to Bwthyn Trecoed in the past two years, and it is certainly one of the best of the many cottages we have stayed in. The cottage is very well equipped with modern appliances, very clean and decorated to a high standard. It is in a quiet rural location, but makes an excellent base because it is very close to many local attractions. Will definitely be going back.

We had a fabulous week away at this lovely cottage. The cottage was equipped with everything we could wish for and more and was in a great location. The host was most welcoming even making sure there was milk on our arrival. There was plenty of room for the children to run around and play in the gardens and they had great fun talking to the cows in the next field. Only a short drive to some fabulous beaches and walks which we were lucky to visit as we had fab weather. Will definitely be recommending this cottage to friends and family.

Rated by Mrs Hinton reviewed on 3rd June 2013

The barn was in a very quiet and private position, very well equipped and presented. A lovely warm welcome on arrival was appreciated. We will definitely recommend to others wanting peace and quiet, but with many local attractions nearby.

Cottage was only a few minutes drive from a major road and yet was the quietest, most peaceful and private place I've ever stayed in. Also, the owner was lovely and the attention to detail in the cottage itself (furnishings, equipment, general cleanliness) was really excellent.

Rated by Mrs Fildes reviewed on 20th August 2012

The property was very well equipped, it was in a great position for many attractions.

This was the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was extremely well equipped, beautifully furnished and everything had been thought of. The boys loved the garden space and goals. Lovely part of Wales with great beaches. An absolute gem of a cottage.

Gorgeous cottage, beautiful decor - even better than the photos on the website. The cleanest cottage we have ever been to. Everything catered for, down to cling film and tin foil!

Rated by Mr Ramsden reviewed on 8th April 2012

The place was absolutely amazing. The description didn't do it justice at all. The owner was also very warm and even bought my son a colouring book and myself and my wife a nice claret.

Rated by Mr Greenstein reviewed on 1st January 2012

This property is finished to a very high standard; the owner has anticipated all requirements. The cottage is well furnished and very comfortable, we would highly recommend it. The location is ideal for exploration of Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire.

We had a great stay at Bwthyn Trecoed, the cottage is in a lovely rural setting off the beaten track with grassed areas and a patio for outdoor eating and playing. It is in our view top quality accomadation, with all mod cons, beautifully equipped and furnished and child friendly having cot, highchair and stair gate. A good location for sightseeing with Pendine Sands and Tenby close at hand amongst other tourist attractions including Castles. Saint Clears is a nice town close to hand for your shopping. All in all we would recommend a stay here.

Rated by Mrs Irwin reviewed on 27th June 2011

It was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was beautiful and although only 2 miles from the main road, it was so quiet and on it's own. The children (8 and 5) could play with no fear of roads. The people at the nearby farm were very friendly too. Even the hail didn't put us off! We didn't want to leave!
