Reviews

Cottage is 2.5 Miles from Hay on Wye town if you drive or a nice walk along lanes, fields, woods and streams. Cottage is well appointed and was presented extremely well and set within a lovely garden and adjoining fields. Numerous walks in and around for all levels and the owner was happy to to explain many of them. Friendly football playing dog (Molly) was a sweetie and welcomed us on our return from a day out. A lovely touch was the cake, a few tea bags/coffee and little jug of milk as a welcome. There is also a smaller apartment above the main cottage. We loved the wildlife and especially watching the bat at dusk from the kitchen window looking at the fields. Lovely cottage, owner and location. Nothing to do with cottage or owners but do check local towns for their shops closed days in order not to be caught out when requiring supplies.

The owner and her family were very welcoming, helpful and relaxed. They were there when we needed them but, always very discreet. We had an excellent week and the sun shone ALL week. My family enjoyed several meals outdoors in a beautiful location and the children had plenty of space to run about safely.
