The Shack, Newquay

This was our second year in the Shack, we love the location and the view. So a definite thumbs up!

The view to this property was spectacular.It is also great to be able to say that the property was very clean and spacious.

The Shack is a gorgeous home from home, in a magical and very peaceful location. The view is breath taking and we can't wait to return to such a great holiday base.

The Shack is a wonderful place, with great views. Right near the beach . Clean, tidy and everything you needed for your holiday. We will be booking again

This was our fourth time at The Shack as we enjoy the relaxing views and being so close to the sea. It is also an ideal base for walking and travelling to other locations in Cornwall.

This property is in a lovely location, just a short walk downhill to the beach and local shops. The Shack had everything you need for a holiday including games for children. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

A fantastic property in a great location.

A very quiet location and the property so lovely. Newquay and Padstow are a few minutes drive away. It was really nice to sit outside the cottage in the evening and watch the rabbits.

An excellent location to explore Cornwall's Atlantic coastline. Very secluded setting with a superb south facing outlook and pleasant short walk down to the beach.

The situation of The Shack was delightful and the rabbits playing in the garden were lovely to watch. The beds were very comfortable so we slept well thanks to the Cornish air!! Watergate Beach being so near was lovely too - a lovely place for a game of 'footie'. We loved sitting on the verandah in the warm sunshine - then at night we were able to enjoy the stars - felt we could almost reach out and touch them they were so bright.

The Shack is secluded yet only a 5 minute walk away from a lovely beach and a short drive to coastal walks. We shall definitely look forward to going again.

A well equipped holiday home in a great location. Lovely views across countryside, and a short walk to the village centre.

This was our second visit to The Shack and certainly will not be our last, we look forward to returning next year. Nothing to dislike at all, it was exactly as described. It is very convenient for the beach and walking and was very dog friendly. It's location is also private whilst still being close to all the local amenities.

A well presented property just as described. Located in a quiet area of Mawgan Porth with easy access to local shops, pub/restaurants. A delightful village with a very friendly population. The Shack is situated within easy driving distances for Cornish Tourism attractions. Beaches are first class as are the coastal walks. A most enjoyable holiday break! Even some bad weather did not distract us.

Lovely location, great scenery and good surf. Mawgan Porth is a pretty town, great for families. We loved the location of the cottage looking down on the town and the scenery from the garden was superb. Cottage is very well equipped. Great place for a family holiday.

The cottage was in a fantastic location to walk to the beach with our surf boards yet retain the privacy we love. Even our 2 teenagers were happy to come with us on this holiday. The cottage was just as described in the brochure and had everything we needed.

The location of the property is only as a five minute walk to the beach, making it an ideal location. Very dog friendly, both the The Shack and Cornwall in general.

Very nice view from the side of the garden. Only 500m to beach & restaurant and great hiking along the coast track.

The location of the accommodation is excellent - only five minutes to the lovely beach! Gorgeous panoramic views from the garden, very quiet! Every home comfort included! All in all, it was enjoyed by the whole family. Cornwall is very dog friendly and our dog gives a huge paw up! We would recommend it to anyone!
