A very comfortable Cottage which was very well thought out.

We have just returned from a fabulously relaxing stay at Bluebell Cottage. The acommodation was perfect for my husband and I along with our six month old. The owners provided a cot, high chair and stair gate which helped us considerably and eased some space in the car. The cottage had all we needed and was a great size with the living accommodation and bathroom very spacious. The beds were comfy and all bedding/towels were provided. When we arrived, it was pretty clean barring a couple of spiderwebs. The surrounding land is full of nature including 3 week old lambs. Really beautiful. During our stay we were in easy reach of Gloucester, Chepstow & Bath. Couldn't recommend this accommodation more.

Bluebell Cottage was a very good holiday cottage. We enjoyed the week in a beautiful part of the country. There were lovely views and easy parking. The owners were friendly, there if you needed, but never bothered you.

We highly recommend this accommodation. It is modern and comfortable, yet retains its character and historical charm. It is spotlessly clean, with plenty of pillows and towels etc. Lovely little kitchen with a good stock of cooking equipment. The fridge is very small, but I don't think it would be possible to fit a larger fridge in this property. Beds were comfortable. The heating had been turned on before our arrival, and the fresh milked and tea bags were very much appreciated after a long drive. The location is excellent, with plenty to do within very easy reach. Too many wonderful sights and places to list here. The house itself is in a quiet, peaceful spot. We really couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Would highly recommend. Lovely, friendly owners too.

We really enjoyed the setting of Bluebell Cottage -- ponds, pastures, ducks, swans, newly-hatched cygnets, pheasants, sheep. Everything we needed was available. Owner was not intrusive, nor were other guests. Very quiet accommodation.

The view from the windows in living room and the wildlife in the local vicinity made the holiday. The owners were very friendly and the cottage is in good area to explore Gloucestershire. Town had a new real ale bar which was fabulous.

Peaceful, good location, especially for seeing the Severn Bore. Warm and comfortable and surrounded by wildlife. A lovely gesture by owner to leave us eggs.
