Where do you begin Butlers flat is by far the best we have stayed in so far it surpasses any 5* we have stayed in from walking through the front door we were blown away by the amazing surroundings we passed the original kitchen and climbed the stairs to the flat and what we found as we walked in was pure luxury there wasn’t one thing that we could’ve asked for , we were only there for 5 days but definitely needed to be there longer the peace and tranquility was fantastic just what we needed to recharge our batteries ,it is so accessible and easy to get to so many places , we will definitely be back but for longer just for the pure beauty of the whole place ! 100% of excellence to you both Archie and Phillipa
The location was ideal and to be able to stay in an historic property was an opportunity not to be missed. Despite being only minutes away from a modern town centre the house and grounds were peaceful and private. It was an oasis of calm.
Butler's Flat was clean, well kept, nice and warm. It had great facilities such as an open fire, snooker table, and kitchen. Beautiful house situated in fantastic grounds. We were very happy.
The property has many original features and was furnished in keeping with the stately home. So many places to visit were very easily accessible by road from Butler's Flat.
A great location for our stay, with lots of places to visit and stunning scenery on site. The house itself is amazing, you actually feel you have travelled back in time. Will return again soon.
Butler's Flat was very peaceful and in a good location with amenities very close by. The apartment layout was good, and the log fire was amazing, making for a very romantic evening watching a movie - It's a place with a lot of charm, perfect escape for a romantic break.
Delightful apartment (not an ordinary flat) with fire place and logs, matches and newspaper all ready to light. Welcome pack with wine, bread and milk etc. Quiet, a game room with full side snooker table, DVD and book library , good wifi connection. Hope to back very very soon.
Quiet relaxing and unusual accommodation. The games room was very good and there were large grounds to explore. There were lots of places to visit within 10-15 miles or walks nearby without using the car. Lots of information was available and it was clean & cosy.
Butler's Flat is excellent for a couple wanting to get away alone and have some privacy. It was absolutely perfect for our requirements. The family who live there are very nice and the information in the welcome pack was very good. Local walks were good exercise also.
Location of the property was within beautiful countryside whilst still being close enough to shops. The property itself is in excellent condition with all the necessities for a comfortable stay either in the flat or nearby within the building. The quality of the accommodation cannot be overstated providing excellent value for money.
Butler's is a lovely holiday let. The owners were very welcoming and the estate beautiful.
The butlers flat is a great home away from home in the stunning Cefn Park estate. Philippa and Archie ensured everything was just right, and it was. Location wise: great walks (stunning views along Offas Dyke Path from nearby Trevor), mountain biking, (fast swooping single track and challenging technical sections on the black trail at Coed Llandegla) and exhilarating white water rafting and canyoning (National White Water Centre, Bala) are all within a drive. Butlers flat was a joy to return to each evening. This is truly charming holiday accommodation with oodles of history and excellent facilities. Oh and a full sized snooker table in the games room.
Warm, comfortable and peaceful accommodation with wonderful countryside walks in the grounds. The flat was furnished to very high standard with period features like an open fire. We would definitely recommend this as a holiday and will definitely be returning!
