Reviews

I had to clean as soon as I arrived. The floor was covered in hair as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Bed very creaky so it wakes everyone up and the attached apartments keep you awake. We left after 1 night of a 7 night booking.

This is a lovely location, the owner is a nice person. The images of this apartment however, are inaccurate. There is no comfortable sofa in the small room to relax in. The fridge is substandard. These issue and the concerns raised are substantial both in reviews & the visitors book. It was a major upset during our holiday, we have no difficulty with bad weather walking on the beach in all weathers is great. We love it, but if you can’t cosy up in front of the heater comfortably with a good book, or watching TV it’s not nice. Location isn’t everything it is with a heavy heart we cannot recommendation Number 4. Try the other apartments.

Stayed here twice and loved the location amazing for walks with dog or without. We had a dog with us which is why we chose the cottage. Lovely converted boat house located next to a good restaurant 5 mins drive to freshwater with coop and other little shops. Yarmouth is small with a few restaurants the little shop has everything you'll need. We had one issue with the cottage and the owner John was super and resolved immediately. The facilities in the kitchen are excellent and I have prepared a good roast for two. Nice and quiet get away. The accommodation is rustic so don't go expecting pristine furniture. Have a perfect time we did

The Boathouse was everything it promised to be and more. Every time I thought I needed something, for example, a chair to sit on outside I found it stored in the cottage. The beach was ideal for us and the dog. We could walk to Yarmouth and to the local fort which made for a lovely short walk.

The location of the boathouse was perfect.
