Reviews

The stay in this cottage was an overall pleasant experience. Super-friendly Lady came in to hand over the keys and show us around in the house. There were two bedrooms with double-beds, bathrooms, shower and a closet each. Also does the house feature a third bathroom with a bath-tub. A very spacious sitting-room with a fireplace features lazy-boy chairs and couches, a dining table, big tv and a bar. The kitchen is quite generous - spacewise as well as equipmentwise. There's a room for laundry also. The cottage is in walking distance from the beach and most windows in the living-room have sea-view. Around the house is a little walled compound. A stone table and bench make a good place for having breakfast outside (if the wind allows). Through your window you can watch rabbits and hares hopping aournd in the dunes and on the meadows outside. Central heating works very well and is heating up quick. The owner asks for 10€ a day for energy - while the first two days were free. In our case this was not mentioned in the printout or on the website we booked the house at. But as we learned is it custom in Ireland to have those costs excluded. All together this is one of the best beach-houses I've been to in Europe. Very recomendable!

The high standard of cleanliness and comfort of the settees & beds made it a pleasure to return to after sightseeing. The cottage was wonderfully light & spacious, and the remote location suited us beautifully providing us with wonderful views and sunsets.

The property and interior was of a high standard and I was delighted with it and also the setting. It was close to the beach and there were sea views from most windows. It was a home away from home but with a lot more peace and serenity!
