Outside there is off road parking for one car and a small, front patio with furniture which overlooks the railway and harbour. Sleepers is a wonderful base for your holiday in Whitby.

Two ground floor bedrooms: 1 x double with door to patio, 1 x adult bunks. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor basin and WC. First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, Smart TV, WiFi, selection of books, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car this is about 20 yards away and is signposted Sleepers. Small front patio with furniture overlooking railway and harbour. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Coast 5 mins walk. Note: Four trains, plus steam trains, pass by property between 8.30am and 7.15pm daily, some associated noise may be heard.
Location Details
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

We have had the most fantastic week in Whitby and in no small way, it is due to the lovely accommodation and the close proximity to town! Lovely property with the added advantage of parking which is a rare perk in Whitby. Would definitely visit again!
Loved the loving touches the owners had made. Quality of furnishings and decor very high. Comfortable bed, great shower. Added advantage of additional toilet upstairs. Quirky upside down arrangements so get best views of estuary and steam engines. Very peaceful and happy here. Parking for car easy to access and walking level distance into town meant our car never needed. Thank you.
Always loved Whitby plenty to do & see ...Sleepers was in a lovely quiet location even though it was next to railway which was a bonus to see the trains go by & still in the heart of the place. Nice to come back to such a airy bright spacious cottage at the end of the day with lovely views. A very handy cottage for everything. Will definitely book again .
First impressions were excellent, it was easy to find. Inside was very clean and very well presented. It was perfect to come back to after a long day out. My wife and I will definitely like to holiday here again, thank you for the holiday that we did not want to end.
The cottage was perfect for us as it is situated in the right spot which was excellent for trains; our two granddaughters loved watching the steam trains! We loved everything about the cottage and everything about Whitby; we shall book this cottage again.

Lovely cosy cottage when Whitby was freezing. Walking on the estuary in either direction afforded lovely views.

A very enjoyable short break. The cottage is very attractive and in a great location. We experienced peace and quiet whilst also enjoying long walks with our dog through the lovely sites of Whitby and the North York Moors. Would definitely like to return.
